Addiction (part 1)

Regina mills had been leaving for work every day an hour and a half early and staying at the office at least an hour late every day for the past month. Robin had started to take notice on how much she worked, but he also noticed how different her appearance was looking too. Her skin was sickly pale, she had dark bags under her eyes even with makeup on, and she had seemed more moody lately. He was starting to get worried about her when he decided that one day he would follow her to see what was making her so tired and worn down looking.
     "I'll be back late tonight I have a lot of work I have to get done tonight Robin. I'll try to be home by dinner but If I'm not just go ahead and eat without me. I'll just get something from grannies." Regina started to walk out of . the room before Robin grabbed her by the arm and turned her to face him.
"Regina you look exhausted, perhaps you should rest today. Take the day off. I'm sure work can wait darling," he said, noticing the way she tensed up at his suggestion.
"I'm sorry I just have too much w..."
"Regina what's going on? Work isn't doing this to you. You are never home anymore and the boys miss you. Please, take the day off for them at least," he pleaded with her. She looked at him for a few moments and decided to give in. "Fine. But while I'm off in gonna need to run a a few errands.."
"That's fine I'll come with you." Robin said smiling. He wouldn't have to follow her if he was with her.
"You really don't have to robi..."
"But I want to. I never get to spend time with you. I miss you milady." Robin kissed her cheek and left as Regina sunk her head in her hands. She knew her addiction was bad, but she didn't think she was gone so much her family would notice.
"Are you ready Regina?" Robin called up the stairs. "I'll be down in a few minutes!" She called back shutting the door and locking it. She was out of pills and she couldn't find any extra anywhere. "God damn it!" Regina yelled, slightly loud enough that Robin heard her. "Regina? Regina are you ok what's wrong?" He didn't get a reply so he ran up the stairs to her and tried opening the door but with no luck.
He could hear her in there shuffling around in there like she was looking for something. "Regina?"
"What?" She yelled back irritably without thinking.
"Darling what's wrong? Do you need hel.."
"I'm fine Robin leave me alone," she yelled again as she rummaged through their bedroom for at least one pill.
"Oh thank god," she said aloud when she saw a vidocin lying behind her hairdryer in her cabinet.
"Is everything ok?" Robin said opening the door and walking in, taking the sight in front of him in. The room was completely torn apart and Regina was in the bathroom looking stressed out.
"How'd you get.."
"You knew I was a theif when you met me milady, and I could hear you cursing from in here all the way downstairs. Care to tell me what's wrong?" He said smiling lightly as he walked closer to her.
"Oh I was just trying to find my.. ring! I left it on the counter when I took a shower and when i got out it was gone. All in all I guess it rolled off cause it was on the floor." She said as she hid the vile of vidacin in the waistband of her leggings.
"Are you sure that's all?" He asked noticing she had put something in her waist line in the mirror.
"Yeah! Everything's good let's go babe!" She said kissing his cheek and exiting the room.
He know there was more to this and he was gonna find out what, sooner than he thought.
