"Mama where are you going?" Tyler asked his mom as she got up to leave the hospital room. "I'm just gonna go talk to Aunt Zelena real quick. I'll be right back baby." She said plastering a smile on her face so he could be comforted. He gave her a weak smile back and turned his body to face his dad. Tyler had been diagnosed with leukemia six months ago, and after seeing every doctor Regina deemed possible, they realized there was nothing anyone could do for him. He had stage 4 leukemia and he was getting weaker every day. Regina had to leave the room because she couldn't handle seeing and waiting for her son to leave her.
"Regina," Zelena called as she gathered her sister in her arms. Instantly, Regina started crying. She clung to her sister as tears poured down her face. "Shhh, it's ok. I'm right here." Zelena hugged her sister tighter as she started to cry herself. It wasn't fair that her six year old nephew was going to die before her. He only had two days at the most according to doctors, and it was slowly killing Regina. This was the most pain Regina had ever felt. She thought it was worse than child birth, and the birth of her son hadn't been easy. "I don't want him to leave me. It's not fair Zelena!" Regina said into her sisters shoulder. "I know, but you have to be strong for him. He needs you now more than ever. You need to go back to him," Zelena said letting go of Regina and looking her in the eyes. "Ok." Regina said in response as she wiped her eyes and her nose.
"Hi." Regina said as she entered the room. Tyler was asleep and Robin was sitting by the edge of the bed looking at him. Regina walked over to him and sat down, taking his hand in hers. "I don't want him to leave us Robin. I love him too much." She said as she started to cry again. Robin started to cry too when Tyler shot up from the bed grabbing at his chest. "Mama I can't breathe!" He choked out as he started to cry. Regina sat in the bed with him and held him close to her chest while Robin ran out of the room to get the doctor to help his son. "Mama!" He screamed as a team of nurses and doctors ran into the room. "It's ok baby their gonna help you. I'm right here grab my hand." She said as she lied him back down on the bed. His doctor, Dr.Rasenbrock, told Regina he was gonna have to put a chest tube in so he could breath. Something was happening were his throat swelled up and blocked his airway. "No! Mama I don't want that!" Tyler screamed desperate not to have a chest tube in him. He had already had a lot of them in his lifetime, and it was his least favorite thing in the world. "I'm sorry bud but we gotta do this. Hold him down," he told the nurses as he got his scalpel out to make the incision to put the tube in. "NOOO!!!! Mama Help me! Daddy I don't want this make them stop!" The little boy screamed as he frantically felt for his moms hand. "It's ok Tyler, hold my hand I'm right here." Regina looked at Robin with a pained look in her eyes. "1,2,3!" The doctor said as he made the cut for the tube and inserted it making the little boy scream out and cry in pain. "Mommy!" He cried as they finished putting the tube in. "Your all done buddy. I know it hurts but you're strong. Your ok." The doctor talked to Regina and Robin about how long he thought Tyler had left. "I know this is gonna be hard to hear, and I'm so sorry, but I don't think Tyler's gonna make it through the night. He's too weak and his breathing is becoming harder every second. I would get everyone to say their last goodbyes to him right now." Regina wanted to cry so badly but she couldn't because it would scare Tyler. "I'm gonna go get aunt Zelena Tyler. I'll be right back." She gave Robin a look of sadness before exiting the room.
"Regina, how is he?" Snow asked jumping up from her seat. It seemed in the time she left Zelena Snow, David, Emma, Tink, granny, and a lot of other people had arrived at the hospital.
"Um, they..they don.." Regina was finding extremely hard to talk. It was like everything was moving in slow motion. She took a few seconds to contain herself before saying, "They don't think he's gonna make it through the night." She felt her world crumble when she said it out loud and she started to cry again. This time snow held her in her arms and tried to comfort her. "Hey it's ok. We're here for you, you know that." She kept talking and giving one of her speeches to Regina, which this time Regina wanted to hear. "He's gonna be ok. You know where he's going, you saw your mom and dad go there. He's gonna be safe, but you need to talk to him about where he's going if you haven't ye.."
"We've talked to him about it." Regina sniffled as her grip on snow loosened up.
"That's good. You know he's gonna be safe, especially with your father. There's a lot of people that I bet can't wait to meet him."
Regina wiped her eyes again and let go of snow all together now.
"We want you all to say your last goodbyes to him. David, you should probably go first and Zelena you go last so he can start and end with the people he's really close to and spends a lot of time with." She started to walk again in front of everyone and then Snow caught up to her. "If you need anyone during this time just know I'm here for you. We all are and we love you and want to help you guys get through this."
"Thanks."' She didn't feel like talking anymore, she actually felt like throwing up. No one should have to losing their kid, no matter what they did.
"Hey Tyler, There's some people here that want to see you. Do you feel up to talking to them?" Robin asked, seeing Regina coming into the room. "I guess. I know it's just gonna be a lot of goodbye speeches. I heard what Dr.Rasenbrock told you. I'm gonna die tonight." Tyler said hanging his head down as he started to cry. Regina looked at Robin with tears in her eyes and ran to hold Tyler in her arms. She was so mad that he heard him say that. Why the hell would a doctor say that in the same room as a kid anyway. "It's ok baby. You remember what we've talked about right? How your gonna see grandpa and grandma? Your gonna be ok. And you'll get to see us again, and Zelena and snow and David and all the people you love. That's why they want to talk to you now, so they can talk to you one more time before they see you again. Ok?"
She wiped his tears away and kissed his cheek. "Ok."
Regina got up and opened the door to let David in and then let snow after he was done and just kept sending people in and out of the room until everyone had talked to him. Zelena was almost as big of a mess as his mom at the moment. He would go to her house all the time when his parents had to work and she would spoil him like crazy. She was the fun aunt. She was actually the person who delivered him since he came in the middle of a bad storm. Other than his parents, she was the closest with him. "I love you ty," she said kissing him on the cheek. "I love you too," he gave her a big hug before she got up to leave. She walked over to Regina and whispered into her ear, "Keep me updated sis," she hugged her and walked out of the room. "are you tired?" Regina asked him walking back over to his bed. "Yeah." She got in his bed with him and Robin got in on the other side like they used to when he was well. "I love you baby. Don't forget that ok? We love you so so much." She kissed him and hugged him tight as she cried silently against him. "Daddy are you gonna cry when I die?" Tyler asked as he looked up into his dad's eyes. "Yes. But I know your gonna be ok. Don't be scared. I love you bud."
"I love you too."
When he wasn't sick they would watch tv until they all fell asleep and then in the middle of the night Regina would wake up to the static on the tv. This time it wasn't the static on the tv that woke her up.
A loud beep was ringing through the room and it took Regina a few seconds to realize exactly what it was. "No,no no no no!" She shot up and looked at her little boy. She started to become hysterical seeing her baby with his eyes still open. He probably was still awake watching tv when he went. She brushed the hair out of his face and hugged him right. All of the noise had woke Robin up and the first thing he saw was Regina screaming Tyler's name as she hugged their little boy as hard as she could. He got up from the bed and moved to the other side to where Regina was. She turned to him and wrapped her arms around his neck and balled her eyes out. "That's not fair!" She cried out against robins neck. A nurse ran into the room after hearing all the commotion coming from inside it. "Ma'am, I'm so sorry, but we have to take care of Tyler. You're gonna have to.."
"Shut up! Shut the fuck up! Don't you dare tell me to leave this room! My son just died!" She yelled crying even harder against Robin. "Regina, they need to clean him up and make him look nice so Zelena and snow and David can come in and see him. We need to go we can come right back. She's just trying to help. Let's go," he said as he kissed the side of her head to calm her down. He picked her up off of the bed and put her down on the floor. He started walking with her hand in his when Regina told him to wait. He bought she was gonna go back to Tyler again but she just took her shoes off. "I know I'm gonna fall when we tell them and I'd rather not fall in heels. Get ready to catch me." Robin wrapped his arm around her waist and they started walking. It get like everything was moving underwater to him. Nothing get real about this. They finally made their way to the waiting room and saw everyone was still awake and talking to eachother. She didn't even look to see what time it was but she knew it was either really late it really early. "It's 4:37." Robin could tell what she was thinking and she looked into his eyes. "Ill do the talking. Just stand by me." He gave her a kiss on her lips and made their way around the corner where everyone could see them. Reginas eyes were red and swollen and it was obvious she had been crying. Robin was more in shock and didn't really have an emotion so they couldn't tell if he had passed or not. "How is he?" Zelena asked for the group. He looked at Regina and then to the people there. "He passed away at around 4:10 this morning." When he said that aloud Reginas knees buckled and she fell towards the ground. She grabbed on to Robin for support and cried into his shoulder. Everything after that became a blur to her. She ended up back at their house eventually but she didn't remember how she got back. All she wanted was her little boy back, but now that would never happen.

I can honestly say that was the saddest one shot I have ever written. I'm still working on part 2 of all the stories you wanted, but I had already started writing this so I decided to finish it. Keep commenting and reading. Thanks
