"Robin let's go we're going to be late," Regina yelled as she ran into the bathroom to make her last minute touches on her makeup. "I'm all ready I'm just waiting for you now." Robin smirked looking at her beautiful figure in the black dress she was wearing. "I'm ready come on," Regina said walking back into their room and pulling him up off the bed. They were going to a dinner in a restaurant on the beach. They made their way out the door and got into the car.
"Hi we have reservations for two under the name locksley," Robin told the hostess who was at the front desk. "Ok Mr.Locksley, follow me." The young girl replied leading them to their seats. They were going to be sitting on the balcony overlooking the sea outside in the cool Maine weather. "Your server will be right over. Have a nice evening." The girl said leaving them alone. Regina started to look at the menu as Robin started to look at how beautiful Regina was tonight. Stunning in every way. She looked up and saw him staring at her. "What?" She asked laughing slightly. "Nothing you're just beautiful." He expected her to look down and smile but instead he saw a look of fear cross her face. "What?" He asked laughing at her expression. Her face then snapped to look into his eyes and then saw she was completely terrified. "Babe what's wrong?" He asked and then he heard a gunshot. People started screaming and more gunshots could be heard. "Run!" Robin yelled as he grabbed Regina's arm and pushed her forward to the doors of the restaurant. They were almost to the doors when Regina stopped. "Regina what are you doing?" He looked back at her and saw blood soak the top of her dress. She was looking down at her stomach and slowly moved her hands to it. When she moved them away they were covered in blood, and then she finally looked up at Robin. He could see the tears in her eyes and ran to her as she started to fall forward. He caught her just before she hit the ground and heard her make an aweful noise in her throat. "Regina stay with me darling. You'll be ok, just keep talking to me ok?" He rubbed the back of her neck and kissed her forehead as she cried out in pain against him. His stomach twisted from the sounds she was making and it made him feel terrible. This was supposed to be a nice romantic evening for the two of them not a shooting. He held her tighter and kept trying to get her to talk. After nothing she finally started talking. "Robin, I feel like I'm flying." She started to cough up blood. "Help! Someone help us my wife was shot!" He yelled trying to get someone to help them. A man ran over who probably worked there to tell them the paramedics were on their way. "Who was that?" Robin asked the man. He could see on his name tag he was the manager of the restaurant. "A man climbed up to the balcony and just started shooting people. We think he was on the beach below and was targeting someone up here. He shot four other people before shooting himself." Robin looked down at Regina to find tears streaming down her face. "It's ok darling their almost here." He adjusted his position on her and was relieved when he saw blood was on his pants. That Meant the bullet went straight through her and wasn't still inside of her.
"She's over here!" The manager yelled towards the paramedic. They ran towards her with a gurney and lifted her onto it, earning them a scream from her as they did so. She was crying harder and harder because the pain was so unbearable that she would rather die than live. It felt like someone was ripping her stomach in half with sharp claws. "Robin?" She yelled grabbing towards her husbands hand. "I'm right here milady."
"It hurts so badly." She cried out shaking from the pain.
"I know but you'll be ok. Their gonna take care of you." He kissed her head as they entered into the ambulance.
"Mr. Locksley?" A doctor called into the quiet waiting room. Robin called snow and told her what happened and she brought Zelena, Emma, and charming along with her to the hospital. They didn't tell any of the kids what happened because they didn't want them to be scared. "Yes I'm right here," he said standing up and walking to her. "Your wife's out of surgery. She's resting in icu right now, but I can take you to her." The doctor said giving him a warm smile. "Thank you, Thank you so much," Robin said hugging the doctor out of pure joy. All he cared about was having a future with her, and even though it was a close call they could live out their dreams together forever.
