"Hey whaddya get on number twenty two?" Asked Valerie. I looked over to her. I groaned and looked down at my paper skimming the page till I saw twenty two. The question was [4(390)+ (670+78)]=. I wrote 2,308.

Sighing I turned to my best friend, who was staring at me impatiently, tapping her pencil on her desk. I rolled my eyes.

"Figure it out, it's freshman work." I said. She shrugged and grinned.

"I know, I'm just too lazy." I snorted and shook my head. I looked back down then said.

"2,308" she smiled then made a heard shape with her hands.

"Love you, Mimi!" She whisper-yelled. I chuckled then shook my hair out of my face, then set my pencil down. Sixty math equations finished in under fifteen minutes. "Go nerds!" I said in my head. I chuckled to my self, then stood up from my desk and walked to the front to turn my work in. I put my paper on the desk where the teacher, Mr. Thomson, just smiled and nodded at me with surprise in his eyes.

I turned to walk back to my chair, when someone barged into the class room. We'll they're late. I looked up startled to see Shane Wilds. He nodded his head at me and I rolled my eyes in disgust. I walked back to my chair and sat down.

"Mr. Wilds, you're late." Mr. Thomson thunders. Shane just rolls his eyes, his bag thrown on his shoulder carelessly. He had on a pair of low riding jeans and a silver studded belt that hung loosely. He had on a chain which connected with his wallet. He had on a leather jacket that looked worn and really soft. Under that was a white under shirt.

He raised an eyebrow it the teacher and he shrugged making his brown hair flop.

"Good observation. can i sit down now?" His green cold eyes glared at the teacher, daring him to say some thing. I saw mr. Thomson gulp in fear. His forehead broke out in sweat. I looked around to see everyone looking down furiously as if terrified to meet his eyes. I looked over to Valerie who had the same facial expression as I did. A skeptical one and disgust at all the people who were afraid of him. I tucked in the chair next to me not wanting him to come over.

"Yes, you may. Mr. Wilds, take a seat next to ms. Ryan." He said. I winced and saw Valerie smile at me making fun of me. Rolling my eyes I stuck my tongue out at her.

"Who's that?" Shane said. I blushed furiously, as I heard the class laugh quietly some of the girls turned to sneer at me. Oh god, how I wish we were in the ring, I'd beat all their asses. But not in school, I have a nerdy reputation, plus it wasn't worth it.

"Yo, sluts turn around." I heard Valerie hiss, venom dripping from her voice. They all turned around fast and I mouthed a thank you to her. She smiled and nodded. Valerie does not share my reasoning she would punch any bitch that says anything cross about anyone. She doesn't care what any one thinks. We go well together, because when I fight she and I switch roles. I'm the ruthless one, and she just helps. Unless its her turn to fight. Then we're both just scary.

"Ms. Ryan raise your hand please." I sighed and rose my hand and Shane looked over to me, when he saw him, I saw him role his eyes a bit, but nodded. I groaned as he sat down and I froze. I'm not used to being close to a boy unless I'm beating his ass to a bloody pulp. Sad, I know.

"Hi, I'm Shane Wilds, nice to meet you are you new here?" He asked offering me his hand to shake. I turned to him sharply then smiled at him sarcastically, anger burning in my eyes.

"Yes, if you consider going to school with you since the first grade new." I hissed. I grappled on to his hand and tightened my grip till it made him wince. He looked at me in surprise.

"Woah, you're seriously strong." He muttered. I narrowed my eyes.

"What, you see nerd then assume I'm weak?" He raised an eyebrow.
