"What the hell Shane!" I looked back to an angry Cameron.
"What?" I asked, still angry. I mean who does she think she is! I mean I thought she was different when I sat down with her at algebra, but I was wrong she's just like any other stuck up bitch.
"That was uncalled for!" Cameron growled. He shook his head, his eyes blazing blue and red.
"What do you mean! She's a bitch, you don't just walk by while some one is getting hurt!" I said angry. He scoffed at me and shook his head again.
"You don't even know what happened, Shane!" He yelled. I frowned.
"What." Rolling his eyes he let out a bitter laugh.
"Shane, while James and his band of royal idiots were beating the shit out of me, no one came to help, except her." He said. I froze.
"What?" Wow I'm sounding like a complete idiot.
"Dude, Mackenzie was the one that saved me. She stopped them then we fought them with me, and let me tell you she left them as bloody pulps." He said. I frowned at that. For Cam to praise someone's fighting is a high honor.
"But she's a nerd." I stated and it sounded lame to my own ears.
"Yeah and I'm the emo fag, I thought you of every one would understand that." He said.
I sighed in defeat then nodded.
"Now, go apologize. Or I swear I'll castrate you right here and shove it down your bloody throat." I winced then nodded. I turned and ran knowing he was serious. I left and went to find the chick. God now I feel like a dick. I said so many things to her, and I can't help but see the tears in her eyes. Groaning I ran out and looked around the empty hall way. I turned the corner and saw all the jocks getting up. I looked closer to see they were all covered in bruises except James who just held his crotch. I couldn't help but grin. I walked past them to where the girls bathroom is. I heard soft crying from inside and I walked in.
"Ryan?" I voiced. I heard a small sniffle then everything went quiet.
"Mackenzie?" I asked again walking to the end of the stalls where the bathrooms are.
I knocked on it gently.
"You in there?" I asked. I heard a grunt. I sighed leaning on the door.
"Please open the door." I said gently.
"Go fuck yourself, Wilds." She snapped. I smiled a little then said, "Im sorry."
I heard the door unlock then Mackenzie stepped out. Her face was pinched and angry. Her eyes red and puffy her nose red and cheeks sleek with tears. But her eyes were angry.
"For what, calling me a whore, a cunt?" She said, her voice cold. I looked down ashamed of myself. I went to go and apologize but I didn't have the chance.
"Or are you sorry for assuming I'm one of those stuck up Bitches who engorge themselves on other people's pain? Because I am certainly not one of those. Call me a whore, I know it isn't true, call me a cunt, it's your opinion, but don't you ever. I mean ever, compare me to those bitches." She growled, stabbing her small finger into my chest. Tears continued to leak out of her eyes, but I was stunned. No one ever talked to me that way. Except Cam. Everyone avoided eye contact and shied away from me, afraid ill snap. Not her. She was normal.
"For both." I finally said. She nodded, wiping her face off and turning away, taking a deep breath.
"Ok how bout we start over?" She suggested. I nodded liking the thought. She turned around and offered me a small smile and put out her hand for me to shake. I took it. I realized her hands weren't soft. They were rough with calluses, but they were small and warm. I wrapped my big hand on it and shook it.
