Chapter 12 SHANE
OH SHIT. DID I REALLY JUST SAY THAT? Please god, tell me I just thought it and didn't actually say it! I looked over at Mack who was standing I there her face looking like a tomato. Fuck! I did say it! I growled and turned back to the fucking bastard whose fault all this was. I glared at him then with a swift knee to the balls I let him drop to the ground and I spun on my heel, grabbed Mackenzie's hand and towed her away. You fucking idiot, wilds!
Now you sound like a fucking girl! I dared to throw a peek over my shoulder to see a smirking Mackenzie and she was blushing. I quickly went up to the the counter and demanded for another tub of popcorn and one giant coke. Once I grabbed it, still refusing to make eye contact with Mimi we walked up to our theater. I was sitting down when she sat next to me. It's getting harder and harder not to just kiss her.
"Shane?" I look over and I have to fight the blush that's making it's way up my neck to my face. I never blush. Ever. But with this girl I can't stop blushing! Ah! It makes me so frustrated.
I grunted a response still too embarrassed to look at her.
"Our movie. It's that way." I looked over to her to see her smirking and pointing the other way. If I wasn't blushing before I was now. I stopped what I was doing then spun around then began to drag him in the opposite direction. Mackenzie behind me was laughing and I could help the smile that was twitching on my lips.
When we finally got to our theater it was basically empty there was one or two people at the bottom, but we sat at the very top dead center and now we were chilling because the movie doesn't start for another ten minutes. My feet were kicked up on the chairs in front of ours and I was leaning back my arms were folded behind my back and I had on a pair of sunglasses preventing her from seeing my eyes. That was a good thing because the whole time I was watching her. Great i sound like a fucking psychopath. Mackenzie was smiling next to me playing on my phone.
"Thank you, by the way." I turned to her and she had turned off the phone and slipped it into my pocket.
"For what?" I grunted out still watching her. Her eyes were on my eyes like she could see through the tint. She had dimples that made her look adorable.
"For what you did back there. And what you said." She added the last part quietly as if she didn't want me to hear it. I shrugged trying to ignore the fact that my heart was beating really fast.
I nodded not being able to say anything. She smiled then with her fast reflexes she ripped off my glasses. She smiled even wider.
"Hey give them back?" I demanded trying to snatch them back but she moved them away.
"Nope." She said. I frowned and shook my head at her.
"Why not?" She smirked and got closer so her nose was almost touching mine, it made my breath hitch.
"Because, I love your eyes. They tell your story, Shane. They're gorgeous, like you but defiant and loyal, they're also truthful, caring and sad." She said now her index finger tracing my eyebrow.
"Uh, um, uh." I shuddered. It was hard to concentrate when she was doing that, damn it!
"I haven't figured you out yet, but I think I'm close." She whispered. Now her eyes looked very intense, like she is so focused that she was speaking what she was thinking.
It kind of scared me. Actually I don't know what scared me more, the fact that she was getting close or the fact that I wanted her too.
Um excuse me, this is a children's movie, so if you would kindly stop snogging and make your porno elsewhere." I frowned and turned to a lady who was looking at us with her eyes. Her bitchy tone seemed to snap Mimi out of what ever thoughts were swirling in her head.
