*5 years later*
Today is Maddie's first day of school.
Brendon is a mess.
I got up and made Maddie breakfast and went to wake her up.
"Ready to go to school?"
She rubbed her eyes and shook her head.
Brendon walked into the room, kissing my forehead.
He took her to eat while I got her clothes and school supplies ready.
I got her ready and waited until time to go.
"I'm scared."
I looked over to Brendon.
"What? It's preschool, she'll be fine."
He shrugged and put an arm around me.
"I know but still."
"Bren its preschool, you passed so can't be that hard."
He shot me a glare which faded into a smile.
"Alright. It's time to go monkey!"
I yelled patting Brendon's leg as I stood up.
We piled into the car and drove to her new school.
Brendon stayed in the car while I walked her in.
"Bye bye monkey! Mommy will be here to get you later, okay?"
Maddie was smiling but it faded when I told her I was leaving.
"No mommy! You can't leave!"
She ran to me, grabbing onto my leg.
"It's okay monkey, go play and I will see you soon."
I sat her down with the teacher and ran out. Holding back my tears.
"How'd it go?"
Brendon asked when I got in the car.
"Good, she's fine."
We pulled in the driveway and just sat there.
An empty silence filled the car.
I got out and sat on the hood of the car.
Brendon soon joined.
He kissed me, his hands rubbing my back.
"When are we gonna get married?"
He asked.
"Soon."
The past 5 years have been rough.
We broke up, I moved in with Jaydon and his girlfriend.
I lost a lot of sleep over Brendon- and the constant moaning from Jaydon's room.
Brendon moved on, he dated a girl named Sarah, they got married after a year but it didn't last long.
Me? I stopped singing, became a full time mom and stayed single.
After Brendon and Sarah were together for 3 years and married for 2 she cheated.
Brendon came to me.
It was easy to fall for him again Because I never stopped loving him.
And let's be honest he's hot as fuck.
When we started dating again things were different.
He couldn't keep his hands off me, not that's a bad thing but still.
We tried to get pregnant multiple times but 'the accident' messed me up pretty bad and it's always unsuccessful.
I want a baby so bad but it's a sore subject for Brendon so I don't bring it up.
Brendon had a hard time after Sarah, he stopped singing so Panic! isn't a band anymore.
So many people are asking him to come back- including me. Singing is his life, it's all he does around the house.
But we want to be a normal family.
We still aren't the same.
It takes more than a year for me to trust you again.
But we are trying.
