Chapter 30

We sat in silence.
I can't take the loss of my baby.
Never again.
The doctor saw my pain and broke the silence.
"Don't worry. Once we do some testing and figure everything out I'm sure she'll be fine."
He left us to talk.
"It's gonna be okay."
Brendon said rubbing my back.
"We will do whatever we can."
I looked up at him.
"No matter what, I promise you she will be okay."
They took Brittany for testing so Brendon and I kept Maddie.
His phone rang.
It was his mom.
I told him to leave to talk to her so it would be quiet.
I was snuggling with Maddie when Jaydon opened the door.
"Hey. I heard about Brittany."
He said hugging me.
"Can we not?" I asked trying to keep the thoughts out.
"Yeah, sorry."
Brendon came in and smiled.
"I bought the house. And stuff is being moved in as we speak."
I started to cry some more.
"I'm so excited! The neighbors are so nice!"
Jay stayed and talked for awhile but he had to get home. His new girlfriend is moving in.
They brought Brittany in to eat a couple times, other than that I never saw her.
