*2 weeks later*
Brendon's tied to convince me it wasn't Jarred but I don't believe him.
Maddie is 2 weeks old today.
I wake up at 3 am in Brendon's arms.
I hear Maddie's screams.
"I'll get it babe."
He says standing up.
I know I won't sleep anymore tonight, Jarred's been haunting my dreams.
"No, I've got it."
"Babe I can tell your tired."
"She's hungry."
"So, I'll get it."
I walked over to the door "Do you have boobs to feed her with?"
He grinned and crawled back into bed.
I picked up Maddie and looked into her eyes.
She had Brendon's eyes, and smile.
I feed her and rocked her back to bed.
She's
She's so beautiful, gorgeous.
When I went downstairs Brendon was working on a song.
"Babe? It's 3 am what are you doing?"
He hid the paper and walked to the bed.
"Nothing. Just doodling."
I kissed him and when I did I felt a tear run into my cheek, but it wasn't mine.
"Brendon? Are you okay?"
"Yeah, yeah. I'm um yeah. I'm fine."
He wiped away the tear and went to bed.
I shrugged it off and went back to bed as well.
I woke up at 6.
Brendon wasn't in bed with me, I figured he was upstairs with Maddie.
When i got to her room he wasn't there.
There was a note on the counter.
Hey baby!
I had to run some errands.
I will be home soon.
If you need me, just call.
Love you to the moon and back.

I sighed. I really hate being home alone.
I decided to call Lydia.
She didn't answer.
Maddie started crying so I brought her downstairs.
I stared singing to her.
A knock on the door interrupted me.
I put Maddie in her playpen and looked out the window.
It was Jarred.
I walked away, grabbing my phone.
I texted Brendon and then opened the door, just enough to see him.
"What?"
"Oh come on! That's how you welcome an old friend?"
"You're not welcome here."
I tried to close the door but he stopped me.
"Meghan! Please."
He looked down at his hands.
"I just wanna talk. I've changed."
I didn't want to talk to him but if it would get him to leave me alone.
"Uh okay. Just give me a second."
I closed the door and called Brendon, taking Maddie upstairs.
"Hey. What's up?"
Brendon said.
"Can you come home?"
"Why? Is everything okay?"
"Jarred. He's at the door."
"Okay. I will be there soon, just don't let him in."
I hung up and went downstairs.
I went the door and opened it just enough for my voice to escape.
"Hey, can you come back another time?"
"BITCH LET ME IN!"
He said banging on the door.
It brought back the memories.
I started crying hysterically, my breathing got heavy.
He stayed for 20 minutes, yelling insults at me.
Telling me I was his again, I was going to leave Brendon and come to him.
"I'll be back bitch!"
After he left I stayed on the floor, my hands over my ears trying to block out the noise.
The door opened and I yelled
"PLEASE JUST GO!"
I felt arms around my shoulders and muffled voices.
I looked up to see Lydia, who was on the phone, and Dylan.
Dylan had his arms around me, helping me to my feet.
When I stood up I threw my arms around him, crying into his neck.
Lydia said something but Jarred's words were spinning around in my mind.
Dylan was hugging me back, I barely know Dylan but he feels like a brother to me.
Brendon opened the door, he was clearly scared.
He ran to me, cuddling me in his arms.
I was shaking, my legs began to tremble.
Brendon sat me on the couch, crouching in front of me.
"It's okay, he's gone."
He said holding my hands.
Maddie started to cry and Dylan went to get her.
Lydia brought me tea and sat with me.
Brendon gave me a kiss but then disappeared to his study.
The one person I need the most leaves me.
