Chapter 48

I'm ready.
The door opened and the music began, I felt like my world was finally complete.
I made eye contact with Brendon who was starting to cry, he had his hands covering his mouth.
I made my way up to the alter and took his hands.
He was shaking.
I smiled and mouthed, "Love you."
He repeated the words to me and we turned to face the preacher.

Brendon straightened up as he began to say his vows.
Meghan, you're my world. The day I met you at the concert I knew we would be standing here someday.
I wouldn't trade anything we've been through for the world because the hard things made, and continue to, make us stronger.
You're the best thing that's happened to me, I've turned my life around to keep you. Without you, who knows where I would be, who knows what I would be doing.
I'm so lucky to have you, to wake up next you every morning, to hold Maddie's hand, and holding Luke.
I never thought I would commit to marriage, I never saw a future with anyone until I met you - I instantly knew you would be mine.
I'm lucky because you're the strongest, most beautiful, most caring woman in the world and you chose to date a loser like me.
I love you.
He had tears streaming down his cheek, it was hard to hold mine back, I've been dreaming of this day for 7 years.
Now it's my turn.
Brendon, you've helped me through so much. When I met you I was broken, my heart was missing pieces. You are what I need, what I have to have. I've been a fan of you since the beginning and I never thought I would be standing at the alter with you in front of me.
You have given me the life I only dreamed of.
I can only hope Maddie grows up and finds a man like you.
It's impossible not to love you, even though you're like another child, you're mine and I wouldn't trade it for the world.
You make me feel safe, you're touch gives me butterflies, you smile drives me crazy, and I'm thankful for that.
I love you.

"Do you, Brendon Boyd Urie take Meghan Anne Swartz to be lawfully wedded wife?"
Brendon locked eyes with me and smiled.
"I do."
Before the preacher could continue a cry erupted from the guest.
Brendon and I looked to see Jaydon crying, along with some other people.
Brendon and I laughed before continuing.
"Do you, Meghan Anne Swartz take Brendon Boyd Urie to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
I smiled at Brendon, it still feels like a dream to me.
"I do."
I turned to see Sarah standing at the door.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Brendon put on hand on the small of my back and the other cradling my head.
He dip kissed me and everyone cheered.
I'm finally Mrs. Urie.
"I give you, Mr. and Mrs. Urie."
We held hands and walked down the isle.
My heat beating out of my chest.
We got outside and Jaydon and Beth were still Periscoping.
"We did it!" Brendon said kissing me.
"I couldn't be happier." I said wiping tears from my eyes.
We went back to get ready for the reception, I fixed my makeup and hair.

When it was time for the first dance Brendon held me close, neither of us could stop smiling.
"I love you baby."
I smiled and kissed his cheek.
"I love you more."
We both started to cry and hold each other close.
"Ya know, I made a huge mistake when I married Sarah, I didn't want to be alone. But I know what true love is when I look at you."
I smiled and bit my lip.
"I'm so lucky."

As our dance was over 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' started playing.
"How did I know you play this song?" He laughed, kissing my cheek.
"I chimed in, haven't you people ever heard of - closing the goddamn door, no!"
I yelled walking over to Maddie and Luke, Brendon following.
"You're so cute." He said grabbing my butt.
I turned around and bit my lip.
"Not until the honeymoon!"
Maddie hugged Brendon and I held Luke.
This day couldn't be more perfect.

Brendon and I went home to grab our bags, we decided to go ahead and go on our honeymoon, Jaydon and Beth are going to watch the kids.
We went upstairs and stripped out of my dress.
Brendon quickly took his suit off.
I changed into shorts and and tank top, we will be driving for awhile.
Brendon put on black skinny jeans and a white tee.
"I'm so tired." I said sitting on the bed while Brendon grabbed my shoes and put them on my feet.
He crouched in front of me and smiled before planting a kiss on my hand.
"Let's go, you can sleep in the car."
We loaded up the car and headed to Tennessee, we wanted to go to the south for the scenery and calmness.
In the car we blasted music and sang along, not a care in the world.
Omg! They're married now! So when I originally wrote this chapter it was super long but I deleted it somehow and had start over, but enjoy!
Meghan and Brendon finally tied the knot!
