2 months later
9 months pregnant

I woke up and saw Brendon was fast asleep.
I got up and went to turn the light on, but Brendon's soft hands stopped me.
"Where do you think you're going?" He asked pulling me back down and into his arms.
"I have to get ready. Maddie has school."
He buried his head into the back of my neck.
"It's the last day. If she doesn't want to go she shouldn't have to."
I pulled myself from his arms and got up.
"I will go ask."
I said putting a sweater on. I went into Maddie's room and she was already up.
"You're up early." I said walking over to her bed.
As I got closer I noticed her eyes were red and puffy, her blanket and shirt also had tear stains.
"What's wrong pumpkin?"
I asked sitting in the end of her bed.
"Is daddy okay?" She asked crawling into my lap.
"Yes. He's fine. What happened."
"I had a bad dream." She said wiping tears off her cheek
"It's okay. Do you wanna go cuddle with him?" She nodded and went to our room.
I snuck to the door way and watched as she climbed into bed and snuggled up to him.

Brendon's POV
Maddie came into our room and climbed up on the bed.
"Can we cuddle?" She asked giving me the puppy dog eyes.
I nodded and she snuggled herself into my side .
I couldn't ask for any other way to spend my mornings.
