*Alison's POV*
I hung up. My hands were shaking. Spencer saved me once. He'll do it again. Don't worry Alison.
I exited the room and walked back to the kitchen, trying to act as normal as possible.
"Who wast that?" John asked. He sounded scarier then usual. That's probably because I knew what he had done.
"An old friend." I replied. "He's in town and wants to meet up."
John watched me with a close eye as I began washing the dishes again. I tried not to look at him in fear that he'd know something was wrong.
"Are you okay?" he asked. "You're shivering."
"Am I?" I said, acting stupid. "Well, I'm just a bit cold, that's all."
There was silence. I didn't look at him. I focused on washing the dishes.
Suddenly, his strong arms wrapped around my waist and he began kissing my neck. I shivered, and not in the good way.
"I know somethin' that'll warm you up."

*Mel's POV*
"I hope we get to her in time." Spencer said as he put on his bulletproof vest.
"Don't worry, Reiders. He won't hurt her. For all he knows, she was just talking to an old friend." I assured him. "Don't worry, okay?"
He nodded, but I knew he'd be worried anyways. Its the way he was. It was like instinct to worry about someone he cared about. It was the same with me.
We split into the two cars. Derek, David, JJ and I in one and Uncle Aaron, Spencer and Alex in the other. I dialed Spencer's number so he could tell us where to go.
We pulled up to the house and hopped out. Our guns were drawn as we came up to the door.
"Rossi, Blake and I will go around the back. You four stay up here." Uncle Aaron said and the three of them went around to the back.
I looked at Spencer.
"Knock. They're more then likely gonna let us in if they know it's you." I said"
He nodded and knocked on the door.
"Alison? It's me, Spencer. You home?" he called. No reply.
"Her cars in the driveway." JJ pointed out. "She has to be home."
"John must be there."
"FBI, open up!" called Derek. When there was no reply, he did his specialty. He kicked down the door.
We raised our guns and walked in. The porch was clear. So was the kitchen. We went into the living room and found John with a knife to Alison's neck. Alison was on the brink of tears.
"Don't come any closer!" John yelled at us. "Don't you dare come any closer! I will kill her right here if you do!"
"But that's not gonna bring him back, is it?" said Spencer. We all looked at him. I knew what he was doing, but the Derek and JJ weren't sure.
"What?" John snapped. "What did you just say to me?!"
I looked at Spencer. He nodded. I lowered my gun. The others followed, trusting what we were doing was right.
"Your son, Robert? He was killed, right? Walking home from school." Spencer continued.
"Shut up! You have no right to talk about my son!"
"You killed those boys because they reminded you of Robert and you didn't like that. So you killed them."
"Just, shut up!"
It broke my heart to see the tears in John's eyes. Robert was his only child. Whether he hated his son, or whatever, for being gay or not, Robert was still his son.
"Listen John. Robert wouldn't want you to do this. Robert wouldn't want you to take out your aggression on kids like him." Spencer continued. His voice was soothing and sweet. Just like him.
"You didn't know Robert!" John yelled.
"Mr. Elliot." I said, stepping forward and putting my gun back in my holster. "If I may, would you explain why you did this? Why are you killing people like Robert if you didn't like him being gay?"
John pointed his gun at me. Spencer quickly got in front of me, defensively.
"She was only asking a question." he said.
"Robert didn't deserve to die." John started, his voice shaking. "I didn't hate him. At the time, I was a man of God. I thought that if my son was gay, it meant he was going to hell and I didn't want that. I didn't know what to do. Robert did not deserve to die. I do. I deserve to die."
John let go of Alison, who quickly raced away. I hurried to her and held her in my arms. She let the tears of fear fall down her face.
John put the gun to his head.
"You don't have to do this." Spencer quickly said. "Killing yourself isn't the answer."
"I can see him again if I do this." John cried. "I can be with my son and my wife again if I do this."
His hands were shaky and he was now crying. Alison had her head buried in my shoulder, too afraid to watch what was going to happen.
"Robert wouldn't want you to this, John. He'd want you to live the rest of your life. He'd want you to be happy." I said. "Please, John. Don't do this."
It took him a moment, but he did lower his gun. Uncle Aaron went in and cuffed him and told him his rights. Spencer came over to Alison and I.
"Are you okay?" he asked Alison. She nodded before quickly hugging him. He hugged her back and they both pulled away. She turned to me.
"Is this the wife?" she asked Spencer. "Melanie?"
I smiled.
"That's me." I said. "Pleased to meet you Alison. Spencer has told me a lot about you and Sammy."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, too, Melanie." she said and shook my hand. She looked at Spencer. "She's beautiful. You did good Spencer Reid."
I laughed as Spencer turned a bright red.
