I moved the final box into the new house and looked around. I couldn't believe it. Spencer and I had just finished moving into our new house.
It had been about three weeks since the accident and Spencer was 100% and back to work. Recently, we had found the perfect house and were now moving in.
It was a two story with three bedrooms, one for Spencer and I, one for the baby and one for anyone who stays over. The backyard was big. Big enough to put up the little swing set that Derek bought us.
Our bed room had a little balcony that over looked the backyard and a garage attached to the side of the house. It really was the perfect home.
I went to pick up a box to bring up to our bedroom when Derek came up and took it from me.
"Ah ah. The only thing you need to carry is that baby." he said and started walking up the stairs. I laughed and walked behind him.
"For your information, I moved half these boxes without your help." I said. "This room here."
We walked into the master bedroom. Derek put the box down and looked around.
"Nice room." he commented. "Much bigger then mine."
"Do you still live in that tiny apartment?" I asked. He shook his head.
"No. Believe it or not, old Derek Morgan has finally settled down and is dating." he said.
"Oh yeah? Who's the lucky gal?" I asked. Derek gave me a look and I suddenly knew. "No way! You and Garcia are finally together?!"
Derek laughed and said, "Yep. She and I moved into a house of our own. We've been dating for a few months. Your news was a little more exciting, so we decided to wait to tell everyone."
"I'm happy for you!" I said. "That's awesome! I was waiting for the day you two finally got together."
"Well, it happened." he said. "Where's Pretty Boy by the way? Shouldn't he be helping his wife move into their new house?"
"He's on his way with the moving trucks. Since the only thing I'm aloud to carry is a baby, I guess you two will have to carry the furniture." I said.
"That's fine. I got these muscles for a reason."
Derek flexed his large muscles. I laughed and punched him in the stomach, which kinda hurt. Almost as if on cue, the moving truck pulled into the driveway. Derek and I hurried down the stairs to help Spencer.
"Stop." Derek commanded. "Let the men do this job."
"Seriously?" I asked. He nodded. "Reiders, tell Derek I can help you guys!"
"Sorry Mel. I'm with Morgan on this." he said. My mouth fell open as Derek laughed. "I know you can, but it's just where you're pregnant and all."
"Come on! A week ago, you were cooped up in our old apartment getting over a car accident. You're just as weak as I am right now."
"But I'm feeling better, Mel." he said. I sighed and crossed my arms. I defiantly wasn't winning this one. Spencer came over and kissed my forehead. "If we need your help, we'll call, okay?"
I sighed and said, "Okay."
I watched as the men brought in the furniture. The most I could carry was a lamp. Not even a big lamp. A small table lamp.
Once it was all finished and Derek went home, I stood in the bedroom that we had planned to be the baby's. Spencer was in our room, fixing up the bed. The next day, we were going to paint the baby's room and start moving things in.
I tried to imagine what the room would look like and a little baby to go along with it. It all seemed so surreal. The fact that I was married, I was pregnant and now I had my own house. Just yesterday, I was starting at the BAU and just meeting Spencer. Where does the time go?
I was snapped out of my trance when I felt Spencer wrap his arm around my shoulder and kiss my head. I looked up at him.
"What are you thinking?" he asked.
"Everything." I replied. "Gosh, it feels like we just met. Now we're married, having a child. We have our own house. Time flies."
"Especially when you're happy." Spencer added. "And I'm happy being with you."
"I'm happy being with you, too." I said and gave him a quick kiss. "I was thinking purple and pink for the room. They go together nicely and if he or she wants to change it when they get older, we can always paint over it."
"I think that's a good idea." Spencer said. "Now, let's go to bed. It's getting late and you need your rest."
"Speak for yourself." I laughed.

The next day, we picked up the paint and began painting the room. I couldn't help but throw a little bit at Spencer as we did and he threw some back, which resulted in a short paint war.
One we finished the paint war, we continued to pain. The walls were painted in two halls. The top half was pink and the bottom half was purple. Spencer, being taller, painted the top half.
In the middle of painting, I felt something. I immediately stopped and stood up. Spencer looked at me, alarmed.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"I felt a kick." I said.
"What?"
"I felt the baby kick, Spencer." I said. My heart raced with happiness. My baby kicked. There was another. "I felt it again! Spencer, come here."
He walked over to me. I took his hand and put it on my ever expanding bump. We waited for a second before there was another kick. Spencer smiled.
"Oh, my God." he said. He looked so happy, so proud. "That's-that's our baby."
"It sure is, Reiders." I said, feeling tears form in my eyes. "It sure is."
