I had wrote down all the places that were relevant to the case. The victims' house addresses and the park. I pinned the map up on the board and sat on a desk in front of it, looking over the notes and then plotting them, mentally, on the map.
Suddenly, I felt arms wrap around my waist and a pair of lips on my cheek.
"Hey, you. It's late. Let's go to the hotel." Spencer said.
"No." I said, shaking my head. "I need to find a connection."
"We have enough connections for one day."
"It's not enough."
I always found something that gave me an idea of what or who the UnSub could be kidnapping next and I always refused to leave until I did.
"Mel, come on." Spencer whispered.
"I'm close." I said in a defeated voice. "I can feel it, but I also feel like there's something I'm missing."
"There is. It's called sleep."
He pulled against my waist, pulling me off the desk and onto the floor and pried the notebook from my hand and placed it in my bag.
"Let's go. Some good sleep will help."
I nodded, rubbing my eyes.
"Let's go." I said. As Spencer turned to leave, I jumped on his back. He laughed and gave me a piggy back all the way down to the black SUV, which I drove back to the hotel.

The next morning, I had a sick feeling in my stomach. Spencer's arms were wrapped tightly around my waist, protectively, making it impossible to wriggle out of his grasp.
"Spencer, let me go." I said, hitting his arm. He released me from his grasp and I quickly raced to the bathroom and threw up. Once I knew I was done, I flushed the toilet and got up to wash my face and brush my teeth. I, then, went to the living room and sat on the couch.
"You okay?" Spencer asked.
"Yeah." I said, my voice a bit hoarse. "I'm fine. Just a bit sick."
"Wanna stay home from work today? We have enough agents in the field."
"No! I'm so close. I need to save the Hudson's and whatever family is next on our UnSub's list. Don't make me stay, Reiders." I begged.
"I'm not making you. I simply asked if you wanted to. But, you start getting sick again, I think you should come back." he replied, sitting next to me. "Are you sure you're okay?"
"I'm fine, babe. It's just food poisoning or something. I did have a snack before going to bed. It could've been that. Either way, I'm fine now and, I promise if it gets worst, I'll come home, as long as you let me work from here."
"I promise."
He gave me a quick kiss before standing up and extending his hands to me. I took them and he yanked me to my feet, causing me to laugh.
"Breakfast then down to the station." I said. He nodded and I turned to make breakfast.

On the way to the police station, I got a call from Penelope.
"Hey, Sexy Thing. You're in speaker." I said as I held the phone out.
"Bad news, Baby Blues, another kidnapping." she said. "Drew and Stacy Kelly."
"Damn." I whispered. "Alright. Can you get me the Kelly's address?"
"Already on it. I should have it to you by the end of the day, goodbye."
