The next morning was excited. I couldn't believe we were about to tell the team that I was pregnant! This all still felt like a dream!

We drove to the FBI building. I climbed out of the car and walked inside, my hands intertwined with Spencer's. I couldn't hide the smile on my face. I was excited for everyone to know.

We walked through the familiar glass doors. It was early and there weren't many people here yet. David,p and Uncle Aaron were, obviously. I'm pretty sure they lived there.

"You look happy." David commented.

"Well, we have some news. Would it be okay if, when the rest of the team comes, you could all gather in the Conference Room?" I said.

"Is everything okay?" Uncle Aaron asked.

"Oh yeah! Everything's fine! Don't worry." I said. "It's good news."

David and Uncle Aaron looked at each other. David shrugged. I smiled at them both. Great.

As I made my way to my office, JJ exited hers and quickly raced up to me. She hugged me again.

"I can't believe it!" she squealed.

"Shh! We want it to be a surprise!" I whispered. David gave both of us a questioning look before continuing on with whatever he was doing.

"Sorry. I'm just so excited for you. These may be a tough 9 months, but they'll pay off in the end when you can hold that beautiful child in your arms." she said. I smiled.

"I'm so excited, JJ. I can't wait for my baby girl or boy to come along. I can't believe this is happening."

"It's happening, sweetheart."

I nodded and wiped the happy tears falling from my eyes.

"When everyone gets here, can you let me know? Spencer and I are gonna announce it to them all when they're here."

"Of course!"

I thanked her and continued to my office. I was trying to pay attention to what I was doing, but it was hard. I knew this shock and excitement would wear off soon, but for now, I was embracing it

There was a knock at my open door. I looked up to see JJ.

"Everyone's here. Spence is waiting for you."

I let out a breath and stood up.

"Let's do this."

JJ linked her arm with mine as we walked down the hallway. I took deep breaths to slow my heart. I was so excited to tell everyone.

We walked into the Conference Room, where everyone was sat around the round table. Spencer quickly got up and smiled at me.

"Ready?" he mouthed.

I nodded. All eyes were on me as I walked to the front of the room where the screen was. I took a deep breath.

"Well, I'm sure you guys have been told that Spencer and I have some big news for you all." I started. Spencer wrapped his arms around my waist as I spoke.

"Is everything okay?" Penelope asked.

"Yes. Everything is fine. It's not bad news. It's actually really good news." I said.

"What is it?" Alex asked.

"Well, when we got back from San Diego, I went to the doctor to get a check up. I got the results yesterday and-" I paused for suspense. "I'm currently a month pregnant."

Penelope was the first to react. She jumped up, squealed and hugged me. I laughed at her reaction.

"I'm so happy for you!" she squealed. "I knew there was a reason you were glowing."

I laughed again. I never used to understand that saying, but finally hearing someone say it to me made me feel really happy.

"Pregnant?" asked Derek. "Who's the father?"

"Morgan, that's not funny. Spence is." JJ scolded.

"In order to get a girl pregnant, you need to have sex. You're telling me Pretty Boy got some?"

"Derek!" Penelope exclaimed. "That's rude!"

"What? Come on. I was joking! Of course I'm happy for them!" Derek said, getting up and hugging me then Spencer. "Congratulations you too."

"Thank you Derek." I said.

David got up and hugged me, too, and so did Alex. I felt so happy that everyone was taking this so well. Well, everyone but Uncle Aaron, who hadn't gotten up yet.

I looked at him. He looked me in the eyes. I was nervous about what he was about to say. I swallowed hard.

"Mel," he started. "is this gonna affect your work?"

I just announced that I was pregnant and my job was what he was worried about.

"I'm not taking any time off. I've gone through worst in the past year or so and I can handle 9 months with a child inside me."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, HOTCH. I'm sure."

I only called Uncle Aaron "Hotch" when I was being serious. We held eye contact for another moment before he stood up and walked over to me. He hugged me.

"Congratulations, Melanie. I'm happy for you. For both of you." he said.

I smiled.

"Thanks Uncle Aaron."
