I leaned against a desk, waiting for Spencer to finish up with he was doing. I was so tired and I was ready to get back to the hotel and sleep.
Spencer was marking down the locations of the victims houses and where they were dumped. I rested my head against his back and closed my eyes. He chuckled. I felt the vibrations. They were light, but I felt them.
"Tired?" he asked.
"Very." I whispered. "Can we go to the hotel?"
Spencer turned around. I lifted my head and looked at him. He wrapped his arms around my waist and held me close. Our noses touched as I looked into his brown eyes. They always made me weak in the knees.
"Let's go back to the hotel." he said. He took my breath away. I was speechless. All I could do was nod.
Spencer smiled. He knew what kind of spell he had on me all the time.
He took my hand and we left. I said goodbye to Uncle Aaron. Spencer drove. I had to fight to stay awake because if I fell asleep on the car ride to the hotel then I'd never go to sleep when I actually got there.
Once we got there, we went up to our room. I passed Spencer the keys and he unlocked the door. I hurried in and pulled on my PJs, which was one of Spencer's shirts that was too big for me.
I curled up on the bed. It was cold. It was November and snow was beginning to fall and the room didn't have the heating on at that moment.
I heard Spencer laugh in the darkness.
"Do you want the heat turned up?" he asked.
"No." I replied and stretched my arms out to him. "I just want Spencer Snuggles."
He chuckled again and climbed in bed next to me. He laid facing me. I quickly snuggled into him. He wrapped his long arms around me and held me against him. I was immediately warmer.
The room was silent except for Spencer's breathing. I moved my head slightly and I could hear his heart beating. I smiled and fell asleep.

I was sitting on a beach. It was beautiful and warm. The sun was setting and it liked like those sappy romantic chick flicks that Spencer and I made fun of.
A little laugh rang in my ears as a small body ran into my arms. I laughed and looked at the little girl.
I brushed her long auburn hair out of her eyes and looked at her beautiful brown eyes. She smiled up at me. She was beautiful.
I was tackled by the man of my dreams. The little girl and I laughed as I turned to look into the brown eyes I feel in love with more then a year ago. He tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear.
The little girl fell on Spencer and he began to tickle her. She laughed. Her beautiful laugh ran out through the empty beach, filling the beautiful silence.
It seemed perfect. All of it. I had a perfect husband. A perfect little girl. A perfect life. I could never wish for anything more.
Spencer propped himself up on his elbow and looked at me. I was still laying down on my side, looking up at him.
"I love you." he said.
"I love you too." I said with a smile.
He leaned down to kiss me. Even the kiss was perfect. Everything was perfectly perfect.
"Ew!" Haley exclaimed. "Cootes!"
I laughed and jumped to tickle her. She squealed as I pulled her down to the sandy ground and tickled her.

I woke up the next morning alone. The room was a bit warmer. The blankets were wrapped securely around my waist and I was snuggled into a little teddy bear Spencer had won me forever ago. I always brought it on cases just in case I had nightmares.
I sat up and stretched. The smell of pancakes intrigued me and I got up. Before exiting the room, I looked at the mirror over the dresser. I pulled the shirt I was wearing tight around my stomach and looked at it. It was still pretty flat, but I could see a little bump beginning. It wasn't that big yet.
I smiled to myself, remembering the dream.
I continued out to the little kitchen where Spencer was standing over the little stove. I out my head on his shoulder and looked down as he cooked chocolate chip pancakes.
"Chocolate chop pancakes? What's the occasion?" I asked.
"Thought you might like some." he replied. "Do you know you smile in your sleep."
I smiled and buried my head in his shoulder.
"I smile because of you." I said.
