Stefan and Elena were out on a date... I was bored to death...I had been staring at the same brick on the wall for the past 30 minutes. How can Damon take half an hour to change? Guys don't do that. Right?
"Well, well, well. Look who decided to grace me with her presence."
"Hey dude."
"Dude, really dude?" I laughed and hugged him around the waist.
"3o minutes Damon, really Damon?" I copied him, stance and all. He smirked.
"Just thinking about my life, my brother, my problems."
"No problem lasts forever. No matter how permanently fixed in the center of our lives it may seem, whatever we experience in this ever-changing life is sure to pass. Even pain.
Difficult situations often bring out qualities in us that otherwise might not have risen to the surface, such as courage, faith, and our need for one another. All of our experiences can help us to grow." He looked at me, I couldn't really read his expression.
"Yeah, I'm the kinda girl who lives off quotable quotes." He laughed.
"You need to get ready for the Jollification thing in a few hours." Damon announced.
"Jollification?"
"You're not the only one who know awesome British words."
"Enlighten me."
"Guess." He smirked.
"Umm, A thing which makes you jolly?"
"Wow, you're good. Now wait here." He walked to the door and turned on the radio. The door was still open.
"What? Why?"
"Sprinklers"
"What?" I couldn't hear him properly over the music as Kings Of Leon's Radioactive played. I jumped as the sprinklers watered the vast expanses of grave-less grass. The water was quite cool. I could hear Damon laugh at my surprise from the inside. I stood in the middle and closed my eye, feeling the water fall deliquetaly on my skin. I was enjoying the fine breeze and sunlight when Damon tackled me. I screamed and fell to the ground. Damon landed on top of me and was holding himself up by pushing on the ground with his hands, other wise he might have crushed me. We laughed and as the laughter died down, I couldn't help but gaze into his eyes. I was staring straight into his crystal clear blue eyes. I turned bright red, seeing him staring at me intently with his black hair plastered to his face from the water. He leaned in so there was about a foot between our faces. He was looking deeply at me and then he got up slowly. I just sat forward.
"What's wrong Damon?"
"Nothing. Um, you should get ready now, okay?"
