"Hey Elena, what's wrong? Aren't you having fun?" I asked.
"Yeah I am, it's just that... Stefan went outside with Damon, he wanted to talk to him about something in private, so I obviously don't know what. They've been gone for at least an hour now." She said, her voice dripping anxiety.
"Elena, I'm sure they're fine. I mean, they are vampires after all and Damon will protect Stefan I'm sure but if they don't come back after the party, then we'll go out to look for them okay?" I touched her shoulder to comfort her. I'm sure they're just fine.

The party had ended and yet, there was no sign of Stefan nor Damon so, I began to worry too. We walked around quickly and quietly but nothing and we didn't want to stick around too long for another vampy incident. I went up to my room, wrote in my diary and crawled into bed. I took ages to sleep, still worried for Damon and Stefan.
I felt sweat dripping from my forehead, all over my face. I had been running, but not away, more like towards something. I entered a warehouse, 69, Dawson street. I heard voices. I sneaked inside, engulfing my self in the darkness of the shadows made by the massive boxes as to be in a way, invisible. I saw Damon and Stefan, quite beaten and bruised. I ran over, untied them and I heard a raspy voice that made my hair stand on ends.
I woke up, gasping for air. I ran to Elena's room and woke her up. I was still shaking.
"69 Dawson street, that's where they are."
"How the hell do you know?" Elena asked.
"Vampires can control minds, can't they? Maybe they can enter your dreams too."
"Ugh, been there." Elena replied.
I quickly got changed into a pair of dark shorts and a black t-shirt. Walking over to the bed, I quickly pulled on my black boots. I stood up and slipped my cell phone into my back pocket. We rushed to the car and drove to the warehouse. It was precisely like the one in my dream, except there weren't any voices. My eyes widened as I looked over and saw a beaten up Damon. Elena and I rushed over, I attempted to untie Damon and Elena helped Stefan.
"No, take Elena and run Jane!" I was slightly confused.
"You found me.We've been looking for you for a long time." I heard a voice behind me say. I turned around and Elena and I gasped. "Yeah, this is fun. I could have killed you a hundred times today, but this...this is worth the wait."
"Let her go, or I swear to God..." Damon threatened him.
I felt my anger starting to rise from his annoyingly cocky attitude. His gaze turned to Damon as he struggled a little to release himself. Two other vampires held Elena and I by our arms.
"What? What are you and 'God' going to do? See, as far as I'm concerned, this is justice." He said pacing.
He turned back to him and smirked. "You know, Damon never told you this, but he was going to ask a girl, Katherine to marry him." He said happily. I gritted my teeth and looked down at the my feet. I could hear him walking towards me a little, but I didn't look up.
"Been shopping for rings and everything." Suddenly, he walked towards Damon instead and I looked up with tears brimming my eyes as he stopped in front of him. I felt all sorts of different emotions, fear, worry, hurt and yet slightly relieved to know that Damon was still alive. Elena and Stefan remained silent, sneaking worried glances to each other. His eyes flashed for a second, before Damon screamed out in pain.
"No!" I yelled as he cried out in agony.
I saw blood start to pour from his chest and knew that I had to do something.
"What are your plans for me?!" I screamed.
This seemed to break the his concentration since Damon stopped yelling as much. He turned to me with a smirk on his face as he walked towards me.
"What was that?"
"What are your plans for me?" I repeated slowly. I could feel everyone's gaze on me, but I ignored them as I kept my eyes on him.
"Who said I had any?" He said. He laughed as he looked around, then back to me. He walked forward, until he was right in front of me and looked me in the eye. "I was ordered to hurt you." He said.
"What?" I breathed out. He chuckled softly.
"Yeah, seems that you and Elena here pissed her off. So bad, that you got the Source wanting you messed up bad." He said as he stepped back a little.
"The Source? Source of what?" Elena asked.
"Jason was sent to kill us?" I asked.
"He wasn't supposed to kill you, just bring you here to torture you. What better way to do that then to kill your best friend right in front of you, when you can't do a thing to save her? You're quite lucky, she hates you more than her. You'll die last. He was so close, that I could feel his breath on my face. I flinched as he moved some of the hair from my face. I wrinkled my nose in disgust as he nuzzled his own nose into my neck, then smelled my hair. Damon stiffened and glared at him. He began to kiss me lightly down my neck when he turned around. Stefan had managed to untie himself and while he was distracted by me, helped Damon up to his feet. He grabbed the vampire by his shoulder and they began to fight off each other and Stefan had the other two. I ran over to Elena as we sat on the floor, holding each other's hand and feeling utterly helpless. I saw Damon pick up a wooden rod and stab the vampire in the chest. I wished I wouldn't have seen anything.
I sat in the back of the car with Damon's head in my lap. I smoothed his hair out from his face and wiped some of the blood from his mouth as Stefan drove. I looked up as I heard Elena groan. She lifted her head and sat up a little straighter from her slumped position.I pressed a soft kiss to Damon's forehead as we got out of the car and into the Salvatore house. Stefan and Elena were in the kitchen, discussing what happened. Turns out that we pissed some really bad vampires off and now they want to kill us although I honestly had no idea what I had done. We were walking around the house, when we stopped at the bench in the little garden that I always came to think at.
"Let's sit." I begged as I pulled him over. Damon laughed and nodded as we sat down and I leaned against him.
"Thanks." He muttered after a little bit.
"For what?" I asked as I let my eyes slide closed.
"For everything. Always being there for me." He draped his arm around my shoulders.
"I love you, Jane." He whispered.
"I love you too, Damon." I whispered back. He kissed the top of my head and I smiled.
"Hey, can I ask you something?" he asked.
"Anything." I said through a yawn. My eyes snapped open as he stood up, then kneeled down in front of me.
"Whatcha doing?" I asked as he dug into his pocket. He had had his hand in that pocket for ages, playing with something, but I couldn't figure out what. Suddenly, his hand emerged, with a little black jewelry box in his hand.
"Jane Moreau, will you marry me?" he asked as he pulled the box out between us and cracked it open. I looked down to see a beautiful diamond ring sitting in it.
Looking back up at him, my eyes widened and I just sat there staring at him.
