He looked over at me and I shot him an innocent smile. Damon rolled his eyes as he sat down and started putting his shoes on. We watched some movies later, chatted mostly and walked around the garden, which was so massive, you can't even call it a garden. I was sure to take some pictures of it. Then it was time to get ready, I used the spare room as Stefan got ready and Damon changed to his tux. I washed, put on the dress and my black high heels. I put my black sweater in my bag and went down the stairs to meet Damon who was waiting by the fire place.

"Well, don't you look lovely." He complimented.

"Why thank you Mr. Salvatore. You don't look too bad either." I smiled. We walked to the car and drove to the founder's party. Stefan was going to pick up Elena, so we just went by ourselves. There were so many people. We walked up the steps and were greeted by a woman with blonde hair, wearing a pretty pink blouse and a pencil skirt.

"Oh, Mr. Salvatore. What a pleasure." She smiled and ticked a paper she was holding. He walked in and waited for me behind her as I tried to enter only to be stopped by her arm.

"I'm sorry but who are you?" She asked politely.

"Jane Moreau, I just moved here a few weeks ago."

"Pleasure, but I'm sorry I can't let you in unless you've been formally invited or unless you're related to an invitee." Damon came over and held my hand in his.

"Um, Jane is my girlfriend. I was hoping to show her around this fine establishment. I hope it's not a bother." He looked into her eyes and said it as if he was ordering her.

"It's not a bother, show her around." She smiled and let me pass.

"Why'd you tell her that I'm your girlfriend?" I whispered him in a curious voice.

"If I hadn't, you wouldnt be able to stay the whole time anyways. Just for the addresses by the founders, then they'd make you leave." Damon explained or rather lied as we walked over to the bar.

"Yeah, whatever, just remember that you have to be careful of who you flirt with now because I doubt your girlfriend would like that much." I said, emphasizing on the word girlfriend.

"Yeah, yeah, dont worry about it." He muttered as we reached the bar and ordered some wine.
