*finally arriving at Homecoming*
Alexis' P.O.V.
"Wow, the gym looks, well, not like the gym!" Which was true. Normally our gym had plain blue walls and hardwood floor but tonight it looked like a castle. The walls were governed with princesses, princes and knights in shining armor.
"Colin! There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you! Where were you?" Some girl screamed at Colin. I didn't know who she was, but man was she pretty. I felt like an ogre next to her
"We just got here, jeez. Sometimes you act like my mom, not my sister," he replied sarcastically
Oh, his sister. That explains why they look alike.
"Hi, I'm Jane, Colin's twin sister," she said sticking out her hand
I shook it and replied, "I'm Alexis. Nice to meet you Jane."
"Wait, is the this the Alexis Hamelton?!"
"She is the only Alexis I know, so yes."
"Oh, well it's very nice to meet you. Colin wouldn't stop talking about how pretty you are and how much he likes you."
"Wow, you sound exactly like my Mom."I said half-jokingly.
"Well, I've had to take other the mother role since ours is a alcoholic."
"Oh my god, I had no idea. I'm so sorry," I said with concern.
"It's ok, my dad keeps the cash flowing so we have at least something to rely on. Well you two have fun, but not too much fun," she said with a wink.
"Sorry about my sister, she can be a pain in the arse sometimes," Colin said
"It's ok, she seems like a nice person."
"Oh, and Alexis one more thing, how would you like to be my first official friend at Roosevelt High?" Asked Jane, who came out of nowhere
"I would like that. Oh, and welcome to Roosevelt High!" Wow my first real friend in 2 years, not including Colin. Boys are fun to be around, but you can't talk to them about shoes or clothes. Maybe my senior would be better!
