Depressingly beautiful

Happy

I was happy, truly happy. That was something I hadn't been in a long time. Sure, I had basketball but that only made me somewhat happy. Nothing has made me truly happy since my brother died. Now thanks to my pills, therapists and most off all my boyfriend I was happy again.

It has been about a month since he asked me out. It had been all good, no bad. We had been on 10 dates. My favorite was the garden Luke took me to.

*flashback*

"Luke," I whined, "Where are we going?" Luke had been driving for what seemed like hours.

"I can't tell you. It's a secret, remember?"

"Fine, then are we almost there? Please say yes, I have to go to the bathroom."

It was true, I hadn't been since that morning.

"We're here." He said, pulling into an empty parking lot. There was lots of rocks and dirt.

"Um, did you take me to see stones?"

"No, there is something beyond the stones. C'mon, I'll show you. The place has a bathroom."

The bathroom sounded appealing.

"Alright, but you lead the way."

"Ok, but close your eyes."

"Why..?"

"Just do it, I won't hurt, I promise."

"Fine, but if I get hurt I'm suing you." I said, closing my eyes.

Luke started guiding me. I had no clue where we were, or where he was taking me, but that fact we are alone in the middle of nowhere kind of scared me.

After about 5 minutes we stopped. I heard the sound of chirping birds and rushing water. We were certainly in no dirt parking lot.

"Open your eyes Alexis."

I slowly opened them. When I could finally see my mouth formed an "o" shape.

"Wow Luke, this is beautiful. Where are we?"

This place was beautiful. There was a small brook with a water fall, trees and flowers all around and tons of gorgeous birds.

"This is a small little garden I have. No one but you and I know about it. When I'm angry or just need a break I come here. It helps calm me."

"You did all of this yourself." I said gesturing to the sight around me

"Well most of the tress and the water fall were here when I found this place. I just planted a few more trees and some of the flowers. Now I just water it when needed and put some bird feed out for the birds."

This place was wow. I had no clue Luke was into gardening. That's what makes him happy.

"So how did you discover this place?" I asked curiously.

"Well one day my dad and I got into this huge fight. He smashed my favorite game and grounded me. When he left my room I snuck out the window and starting driving. I just had to clear my head. I drove for what seemed like forever until it was starting to get dark. I saw the lot and parked there. I started trying to find some food and a bathroom. I came across this place and have coming back ever since."

"Well it's lovely, like you. I'm glad you found something that made you happy."

"Well this makes me almost as happy as you do."

"Aww." I said blushing, "you make me happy too."

And he did. It was like I was missing something, and he was it.

*end flashback*

I think we all have something that makes us happy. I have Luke, and Luke has me. Jane and John have each other. And Colin and Jordyn made each other happy.

Oh yeah, Colin and Jordyn started going out. Bleah. Those two did not make me happy. But it made me happy when they got in trouble for PDA.

Good ole' Mr.Johnson and his strict no PDA policy.

Let's just hope I stay happy like this for a long time

I made this story skip ahead an entire month. The story will probably end with graduation so I may skip ahead some weeks and months.

Well this chapter came quick. If you couldn't tell, my writers block is gone.
