*Steve's POV*

Outside the little coffee shop across the street from Stark Tower, I sat in silence, staring at my granddaughter. She looks exactly like her grandmother... I miss (Y/N) so much...
"She died last year, heart failure. Before she went, she only spoke of you. She loved you very much," Taylor explained, placing her hand over mine. "I'm so sorry, Grandpa... I mean, Steve... I'm not sure how this works yet..." She laughed nervously.
"You know, she never told me she was pregnant? We got married shortly before I got... Well... Big, and then I was taken overseas after my tour around the U.S. and I never came back... She did write me, but I didn't get her last letter. I guess it's lost now... Anyway," I remembered, "do you want to hear about how we first met?" Taylor nodded her head encouragingly.

*Bucky slid a glass down the bar to my hand, although it went right past and hit the arm of the guy next to me.
"Sorry about that," I muttered. Bucky just laughed.
"I knew you weren't athletic, but come on, Steve, a drink?! That's just sad," he joked. In the background, the song changed, and I heard a voice start singing. I turned to see who it was, and that's when I saw her.
"Buck, look..." I tapped his arm. He whistled.
"Wow, what a dame. You should go talk to her after her song," he pushed. My eyes widened.
"That's more your thing, Bucky. I can't talk to her! She'll laugh at me," I protested.
"She won't if I'm backing you up! I'll be your wingman. Remember, I'm with you 'til the end of the line. Now, there she goes, let's go get her!" He shoved me forward. I knocked into her, causing us both to fall to the ground.
"I am so sorry! My friend can be suck a knucklehead sometimes... Here, let me help you up," I offered.
"Thank you. Don't worry about that, I probably would have fallen on my own anyway. I'm very clumsy," she laughed.
"You're too beautiful to be clumsy, Ms... Um..." I stammered.
    "(Y/L/N)... (Y/N) (Y/L/N)," she smiled coyly.
"I'm Steve Rogers," I introduced myself.
"Hey, is this pipsqueak bothering you, Miss?" A burly man asked (Y/N). Bucky moved to shove the man, but (Y/N) cut in.
"Actually, he was being quite the gentleman, unlike you," she replied snarkily. The man backed off. "So, you were asking me out?" She looked at me expectantly. I stared at her incredulously, while Bucky stared at me.
"I like her," he grinned, "I think you found yourself a keeper, Steve."*

"And I had found myself a keeper. Your grandmother was an amazing woman," I finished.
"Wow, so Grandma (Y/N) was a badass!" Taylor laughed, and I laughed too. Yes, yes she was.
