Christmas In New York

A/N:
I was having nostalgia about my Christmases in NYC, so I decided to share it with you guys (adding Sebastian, of course XD) I'm really excited for the holidays yay

You wake up to the smell of peppermint coffee and bacon. From your bed, you can see the gray sky and white flakes floating down past your window.

"It's snowing! A perfect day to walk around the city," you call to Sebastian. The kitchen is across the flat from the bedroom, so you're not sure if he hears you.

"I would love that, Babe," you hear him call back. After getting up and doing your morning routine, you grab a pen and cross off yesterday's square on the calendar. Christmas Eve, you think, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

A cold wind blows through your jacket and scarf as you walk through Central Park. Seb sees you shivering, and pulls you closer to him. It was getting dark, and you thought it might be time to go home and start dinner, but Seb insisted that you both stay and walk around the park for a while longer. As you approached the Alice statue, suddenly twinkling lights illuminated the pathway around you.

"Seb! It's beautiful!" You gasp, and he laughs. You both sit on the mushroom statue and Sebastian pulls a small wrapped box out of his coat pocket.

"What's this? Christmas isn't until tomorrow, silly," you tease.

"Maybe I don't need a reason to give a beautiful girl a gift," he replied softly. You open it, and inside is a locket with pictures of your first date in it. You recall the date, Seb took you ice-skating and you played in the arcade and photo booth.

"I love it, and you," you exclaim, and kiss him softly. "But I have a surprise for you too."

The Central Park ice rink sparkled with Christmas lights, and the two of you stayed there laughing and skating until it closed. Best holiday ever, you smile. He smiles back.
