"Next stop, Union Station, Washington DC," the train conductor announces, and the train slowly pulls out of Baltimore station.
"We're almost there, Sebastian! My mother will be so excited when I surprise her at home," you ramble excitedly. You look over at your new friend to see that he has fallen asleep. Smiling to yourself at how frickin' adorable he looks when he's sleeping, you gently shake him awake.
"Huh?" Sebastian grumbles, opening his frosty blue eyes.
"I guess getting your ass kicked in cards really tired you out, huh, big guy? Anyway, we've got about twenty minutes until Union Station, I thought you might want to be, you know, awake, when we get there?" You tease smugly while holding up the twenty you had earned throughout your epic go fish showdown. He jokingly tries to grab it back, but you quickly stash it in your coat pocket and take out a scrap of paper and a pen instead.
"What's this for? Are you trying to score my digits?" Sebastian gasps mockingly and you sneer at him.
"If you must know, you're scoring my digits, drama queen," you smirk and hand him the paper. "If you need help or tips for the DC area, what's good and what to avoid, I'm your girl. You're welcome for being your train buddy, by the way," you smile and look at your lap.
"Hey, thanks. And do you maybe want to get coffee or something on Friday? Before I go back to New York, of course," Sebastian stumbles through his words awkwardly, which just makes him that much more damn cute. You turn to face him and your warm (E/C) eyes meet his crystalline blue ones staring intensely at you.
"Only if you win this game of go fish," you tease, pulling the cards out again.
"Deal! You're going down, (Y/L/N)!" He exclaims, and the game is on. After several rounds of you winning and him cursing and laughing, he finally surrenders, smiling, his eyes sparkling and dancing with excitement and energy.
"In the spirit of sportsmanship, I will go to coffee with you, Stan," you accept, shaking his hand and grinning. The conductor interrupts your conversation.
"Union Station," he announces.
The two of you step onto the platform and walk down the length of the train and through the doors into the station center. Sebastian sees a man and waves him over. They hug, clap each other on the back and start catching up.
"Oh my Lanta! You're Chris Evans! I'm honored to meet you," you gasp and the man smiles.
"Making new friends, Stan?" Chris jokes and Sebastian blushes and grins. Suddenly, confusion and mock offense cross his features and he turns to you.
"Wait, you know who he is but not me???" He pouts but quickly smiles again.
"I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about, Sebastian," you reply mischievously. "Well, have a good Thanksgiving, Sebastian, and it was a pleasure to meet you both," you shake their hands and bid them farewell, knowing that you would see them again soon. Smiling, you take one last glance at the two men and your eyes meet those dazzling sapphire eyes that would surely haunt you. What a Thanksgiving holiday this will be, you think, those eyes still on your mind.
