"Henry's back, and with some blonde woman, and get this: he claims she is his mother- well, his birth mother. Regina is furious. I'm surprised she can even speak at all, being so mad like that..." David rambles on. I, however, am not listening anymore. An outsider in Storybrooke? Could she be the Savior? Henry always believed the stories from the Enchanted Forest... Could he really have found Snow- Mary Margaret's - child?
"Kitty? Kitty? You still there? Hellooo... Earth to Kitty." I snap out of my thoughts.
"Sorry, David, what were you saying? I kinda phased out for a second..." I answer sheepishly.
"Where do you go when you zone out? I've been noticing it a lot more recently," he asks. "Wait, don't answer that. I'm probably better off not knowing..." David trails off as Mary Margaret enters Granny's.
"Why don't you go talk to her? She's very nice, I'm sure she'll have lunch with you if you just ask her," I point out.
"You know I can't, Kitty. Catherine would have a conniption if she knew I wasn't sure about the wedding. I couldn't do that to her," David replies glumly.
"Well, it's your life. But trust me, from experience, I know that keeping yourself stuck in a situation you aren't 100% happy in is a good way to end up miserable. If you have the choice to be happy, truly happy, then be happy. Don't choose to be unhappy. Because when you don't have a choice, you would give anything to be happy again. That's just my opinion," I leave him with that thought and head out to Gold's pawn shop.

"Ah, good afternoon, Dearie, what can I help you with today?" Rumpelstiltskin sneers as I walk into his store. "Looking for a piece of jewelry, perhaps? Or maybe something more... Personal?"
"Lose the act, Rumpel, I'm not here for my object, at least not today. I need you to find me the Looking Glass."

"Jefferson? You home?" I call out. I look into rooms as I pass them into the kitchen, and find him moping at the table, browsing fabrics for a new hat with scarce enthusiasm. I sigh. I hate to see him so dull and gloomy, especially with new blood in town. "I have some interesting news, if you'd like to hear it..." I taunt Jefferson, pulling out his chair and taking a seat on his lap.
"Well, go on," he smiles encouragingly.
"Apparently, Henry's birth mother is here. He thinks she's the savior. Emma, I think... Emma Swan. She's been acquainted with the sheriff and Regina, and some other townspeople. She could be the answer, Jefferson. She could free us!" Jefferson's eyes widen as this new information is processed, and he starts grinning widely in excitement. In his joy, he grabs my face and brings his lips up to mine passionately. I jump in surprise, but then lean into the kiss. When we part,  I'm smiling as widely as he is.
"It's about damn time, Jefferson!" I tease.
"Yeah, well, it's about damn time for a lot of things, and thanks to that strong willed kid of Regina's, it seems that time is almost here," he smiles back, and we kiss again.
