my head aches as I come back to consciousness. my head feels like I'm underwater and everything's muddled and unclear. I groan as I feel the restraints holding my arms and feet to the bed. I force my eyes open and hiss as the bright light hanging directly in front of my face blinding me.

"Are you feeling okay? Do you need any pain medication?" an unfamiliar voice says and I snap my eyes open, ignoring the blinding light. I stare straight at him in question. He has bright pink hair and he's very attractive. he's lean and his bicep's are fairly big. He's really fit and his jaw structure is a gift from God himself.

"Oh, uh I'm Josh," he chuckles nervously. I manage a weak smile as I nod towards my restraints. He hesitates and stares at me uncertain nad I laugh like a maniac, which in my case doesn't help me at all.

"Listen, I'm okay for now. That happens a lot if you don't already know. I'm perfectly fine now and you can let me go. Oh yeah, I'm Tyler. You probably already knew that. I'm just a little crazy." I try to make a joke but I'm sure I just creeped the man out that much more. He undoes the restraints and I massage the irritated skin on my wrists. I don't say a word as I walk to my small radio and click play.

All I am
is  a man
I want the world
right in my hands...

I silently walk back to my small bed and lay my head back on my somewhat comfortable pillow.

My heads in the clouds,
but my gravity's centered.

"The Neighborhood? Good choice dude. My personal favorite is  Ferrari," I nod silently as he watches my every move. I can tell he's on edge, but who wouldn't be? He's in a secluded area with me: the biggest suicidal head case this world has to offer. I smirk as he turns to arrange a couple papers at the desk in the corner. His head is ducked as his hand moves rapidly back and forth. It's probably my report. I silently get to my feet and carefully make my way to stand behind him. I carefully lower my head to be level with his ear. I know he can feel my breath on his neck because his breath hitches, so I quietly whisper, "boo". He jumps and screams, sending me to the floor in a fit of laughter.

"Are you crazy?!" He yells clearly shaken by my antics.

"Well, I'd say so, wouldn't you? I mean we did just meet in a mental rehabilitation center after I had a mental breakdown and was restrained and sedated for everyone's safety, including my own," I laugh and shrug as I climb to my feet swiftly and walk back to my bed still chuckling. After he stares at me in confusion for a bit he finally speaks up, "so I guess we should get to know each other...? Y'know, since I'm gonna be your new nurse for a while..." I laugh and shake my head.

"Not today, maybe tomorrow," I yawn. He looks at me in shock from being dismissed so fast. "What, cat got your tongue?" I ask in a snarky tone.

"Are you usually like this?" He questions and I don't take more than a moment to respond.

"Nope, only after being sedated. I'm usually reclusive and quiet. You see, I'm so, extremely messed up that after I've been drugged I feel more rowdy than others; who usually feel dizzy or tired,"

He gives me a small nod, "One more question." I raise an eyebrow and turn to face him.

"Shoot."

He takes a deep breath and looks me directly in the eye.

"Why did you start freaking out yesterday? What was going on in your head?" He seems genuinely curious and I can't help but smile.

"I swear to god the devil made me do it." I laugh again teasingly as he sighs and leaves, closing the door behind him and making sure it's locked. I lay back and prop my hands behind my head as random music plays in the background.

This Josh dude is really in for a surprise...

lmao I want to apologize to Becca cuz lmao I suck @ updating and shit bc I'm an onion ring and procrastinate at everything yikes BUT I'm gonna be updating hella tons bc this is gonna get sweaty ;) (ihatemyselfyikes)
