"The fact that Nathan told me no made me want to get it even more."
- Peri

After a while, Penelope had left the house, to go home. She'd spent an entire Saturday with Nathan like she wanted, and now Sunday was kind of his time to take a breather.

My eyes were glued to the television, watching reruns of The Mentalist. It passed the time by quickly, and plus, I enjoy watching this show. My infatuation for Simon Baker just adds to the list of reasons why I watch this show so often.

Back to back, upside down, right side up, forwards, backwards, I just can't get enough of it.

My phone then started to ring and I picked it up, my eyes never leaving the television, only to check the caller ID. Once I answered it, I sighed and placed the phone to my ear.

"Hello ... Farrah?" I ask, not hearing another voice on the other end. After a while I was close to hanging up, because she was disturbing an episode that I'd already watched before.

"...-Sorry about that, my mom wanted me to do something." She apologized quickly. I just hummed as a response.

"Watching The Mentalist again? Alright, tell me what happened." She connected the dots perfectly - why does she have to know me so well?

Farrah knows that I only watched The Mentalist when I'm bored, but most infamously, if I need to get my mind off of Nathan.

"Nothing I just ... had this dream..." I trailed, wiping my face with my hand. "It wasn't just sexual or anything, it seemed too real this time, Farrah."

She's the only one who knows about my feelings towards Nathan, I needed someone to vent to, and she's my best friend.

"Maybe you should see like ... a specialist-"

"A specialist to get over a crush?" I laughed, "That's ridiculous and pathetic and you know it."

Out of nowhere my door opened and I instantly pressed the end section on my phone when I realized who it was.

"Hey Nathan." Speaking of the devil ...

"My head's feeling a lot better, how about we go to the mall, you know? Have some bonding time." He suggested, those words sounding more like our mothers than his.

But nevertheless, I still agreed, with a nervous feelings in the pit of my stomach.

At the mall, we enjoyed a few different milkshakes from a cart. Nathan and I were now walking around the mall, me chewing on my straw from time to time.

I was finally giving up hope, this was just going to be yet another sibling outing with him. But it seems like someone read my mind and placed a Victoria Secret before us.
