The dark kingdom seemed so lifeless it gave me chills that went up my spine to the back of my neck. It  scared me with all these people staring at me with a disapproved look in there eye. The prince or at least I think it was said," I'm Riven the prince of darkness what may your name be." He said that bowing" My names... Daina." he looked at me for a second and nodded. There was something appealing about Riven I just didn't care for the thought as much as I cared for the thought about Brian. Riven lead me around the fortress and the more I got to know him better the more I thought about how nice he seemed and not some snob like I'd imagined him being. " Last but not least, your room." I was surprised by how fancy it was it had white drapes over a white bedspread with a brown bed frame. On the floor was a black carpet and the wooden floor with wite lanterns hanging from the wall. Seashell windchimes were in every window ( which was two). One of the windows had a sitting area built in it with a book shelf built in the wall underneath it. The bedside table was white and had a snow globe with the sun and the moon in it and when you shook the globe it would have glitter flying everywhere inside it. The room also had some other amazing stuff in it. "This is your room the one we built especially for you."

I was withdrawn by how much light was in it I just couldn't believe it. I thanked Riven very much" You like it?" I replied " ya I do " he just smiled and laughed a little. "I designed it myself" he added, I think trying to impress me. "Why did you do it so bright I mean its a dark city don't you think that they would have wanted something more dark." I asked but all he said was " It was my choice" I gave him a hug to show how grateful I was. " Back at home it's a sign of grateful ness to give someone a hug it is also out of pure respect." He gave me a look as if he understood but I'm pretty sure he didn't. " We'll it's almost time for dinner I think we should start to head that way. He started for the door and said" Your one lucky girl." I just smile at the sweet compliment and followed him out the door.
