Chapter 4
The king looked at me with so much hope in his eyes I just couldn't refuse and said'' What he speaks of is the truth.'' Only I wasn't so sure it was the truth. Brian and I returned to his house or at least I think its his house. I asked him '' So is this your home.'' '' Yes, it's not much but I call it home.'' Well I thought it was small but it was kind of nice in a way. '' You shouldn't sleep in my crummy house you belong somewhere where your protected. The darkness king and prince know the scripture too and they will do almost anything to get their hands on you.'' I felt so frightened and the look on my face was like the look my mother had on her face. Brian said we only had a few days until the darkness was prepared to come and get me then only then would they come after the city of light. We went back to the kingdom where I was assigned a room and fell asleep within the blink of an eye.
