"She's alive" Blakely says to me over the phone.
"HOLY SH-...taki mushrooms" I freak. I hang up and jump in my car, ready to drive to the hospital.
I drive down there and chat with Avalon for a bit, stay there and hold her hand, then I leave.
I get back from the hospital and sit down on the couch. Not really paying attention to the TV, I realize that in two days it's Avalon's birthday. I look at the time and decide I should go to sleep. I head up to bed, get ready and plop down on my bed, exhausted from my emotional day.

I wake up and take a shower, it's the first thing I do in the mornings, You know, to help wake me up. I finish my shower and get dressed in a white graphic tee, a pair of ripped skinny jeans, my black boots, black beanie, black leather jacket, and of course the locket my father gave me.
I get dressed and head downstairs to eat breakfast. I make waffles and begin to feel sad. (<-- Probably the most unrealistic sentence I've ever written). It makes me think of Avalon and how she's not here. Boy, does she love her waffles.
That gets me to thinking;
I guess she is kinda out with Blakely...After deciding what to do, I call the local cake store. It's about dawn so I can go pick it up later. I ask them to make a chocolate cake with blue icing, and purple flowers, and green stems all around the cake. Then, written on top it'll say Happy Birthday Avalon!
I head to a party store after actually getting dressed today (whoops). I decide we need streamers, balloons, a banner, and I saw some cool hangable pom-poms (all teal colored). Then for eating I got (also all teal colored) paper plates, cups, napkins, a couple tablecloths, forks, spoons, and knives. Then I head to the grocery store and get some stuff; regular potato chips, chocolate ice cream, vanilla ice cream, and strawberry ice cream.
After finishing my long shopping list I head over to the cake store to pick up the cake. It's 20 till 11am now. I wait in line, an adorable little girl and her father in front of me. I listen to his conversation with the cashier to see why he was taking so long.
"But you don't have enough money, sir" The female cashier explains.
"Please, it's my baby girl's birthday. And I'm only a few dollars short" He tries to reason.
"Excuse me?" I cut in. "I'm willing to pay completely for his cake" I offer.
"Oh thank you, thank you so much" The father praises.
