I See You. (Camren)

Chapter Nineteen.

Camila.

I sit on the park bench with Dinah to my right, Lauren is playing football with Harmony, I smile as I watch her pick Harmony up from behind and quickly kicks the ball, before Harmony scolds her for cheating, to which Lauren just laughs and begins tickling my daughter.

"So how was your day yesterday?" Dinah asks pulling my gaze away from Lauren and towards her.

I smile remember yesterday morning and day, I look down at my wrist and see the heart with Lauren and Harmony's initial printed inside of it.

"Oh my god you got a tattoo" Dinah screeches quickly grabbing my arm and pulling it towards her.

"Okay ow, it is attached to me you know" I glare at her.

"Tell me you did not have Lauren and Harmony tattood on you" Dinah stares at me in disbelief.

"It's not real Dinah chill out, Harmony and Lauren have them too" I roll my eyes.

"Well that's okay then, but still, what made you get an L?" Dinah asks and I stare back down at my wrist which is now back in my posession.

"Yesterday morning and afternoon was perfect" I smile running my finger over the tattoo.

"But the evening weren't?" Dinah asked picking up on it.

"Not the best no" I shake my head.

"Start from the beginning" Dinah says turning her body to face me.

I glance over at Lauren and Harmony and see that they're doing just fine without me, before also turning my body to face Dinah and starting the story from the second that Lauren woke me up, all the way to when she asked me to be her girlfriend.

"Wow she really is cheesy isn't she" Dinah chuckles.

"Yeah she is" I smile glancing over at the green eyed girl, to find her already staring back at me with a smile on her face, I bite my lip and turn my attention back to Dinah.

"I want to see this video" Dinah grins.

"You'll have to ask Lauren for her phone" I smirk.

"I will later, now what happened after that?"

I sigh and look down at my fingers in my lap, twisting them together before looking over at Lauren who was laying on the grass with Harmony beside her and pointing up at the clouds.

"I went to my parents house" I start and watch as Dinah's eyes widen in shock.

She knows the entire story of what happened, she got it out of me within the first week of working in the diner, we were both on the late shift and had to close up, so once the doors were locked, we sat and we talked, I completely broke down in front of her, that was the first time I ever allowed someone to see me cry.

"What happened?" Dinah finally asks once she has gotten over the shock of it.

"I asked to see Sofi" I furrow my eyebrows and keep my gaze on my two girls laying in the grass.

"Did you get to see her? Did they tell you no? God I will go there and kill them if they refused to let you see her"

"She wasn't there" I interupt Dinah's rant.

"Where was she?"

"Uhm" I clear my throat and tilt my head back seeing the branches of the trees, a calmness coming over me as I watch the leaves sway in the breeze.

"Hey, don't cry, what happened?" Dinah wraps her arm around my shoulder.

I reach my hand up and brush at my cheek with my fingertips, I didn't even realise I was crying.
