I See You. (Camren)

Chapter Twenty

Lauren. 

I step into my apartment, flicking all the lights on as I go, I feel like I haven't been inside my home for ages, I enter my kitchen and open the fridge pulling out food to make a meal and realising that everything is out of date, I sigh and end up clearing out my fridge binning it all as my house phone begins to ring. 

"Hello" I answer without checking the caller ID. 

"Honey it's your mother, I was wondering if you wanted to come to the house, your father is having a bbq, Chris is already here, and Taylor is on her way" My mum says down the phone. 

"You have impeccable timing" I smile softly. 

"I do? Why's that?" She asks. 

"Because I literally just threw everything out of my fridge because it's out of date" I explain. 

"Oh well that's handy then, so I guess we'll be seeing you soon then?" 

"Yeah you will, I do want to have a quick shower though" I tell her wondering around my apartment.

"Yes that's fine, the food probably won't be done for another hour yet, so you've got time, and feel free to bring along Camila and her Daughter, there's more than enough for all of you" I roll my eyes softly. 

"I literally just left her mum, she has probably had enough of me for one weekend" 

"Well the offer is there anyway, I'll see you soon okay" 

"Alright, bye mum" Once we have said our goodbyes, I hang up the phone and throw it onto the couch, before hearing my iphone ringing in the kitchen. 

"Really?" I say and stalk back into the kitchen, a smile etching across my face as I see the picture that Camila and I had taken yesterday with the pair of us kissing Harmony's cheeks.

I pick up the phone and slide across the screen answering the facetime call and seeing Harmony's face come into view. 

"Miss me already?" I smile and watch as she beams back at me. 

"Harmony what are you doing with your mothers phone" I hear a voice in the background and watch as the phone is lifted into the air, until I can see Dinah's face. 

"Oh hey green eyes" Dinah grins flopping down onto the sofa. 

"Hello" I smile. 

"I didn't hear the phone ring" Dinah says. 

"That's because it didn't" I chuckle. 

"Huh? Then how?" 

"Harmony" I say nodding towards the girl that has positioned herself next to Dinah so she can be seen on the screen once more. 

"You were literally just with her" Dinah says turning to face Harmony. 

"So?" 

"So maybe she wants a break from your annoying self" Dinah nudges the three year old. 

"Hey that's mean" Harmony pouts. 

"Dinah are you being mean to my baby?" Camila's voice enters the room now but I can't see her on the screen. 

"Pssh no" Dinah scoffs. 

"Yes you were" I stick up for the three year old and watch as Dinah's head snaps to glare at me. 

"Lauren?" 

"Down here" I wave feeling completely stupid. 

The phone is lifted once again, this time Camila's face coming onto the screen.
