~ Chapter 2 ~

Mini's PoV

I walk through the dark, spooky forest and admire the graphics this game has offered me. I love that this game has good graphics, but this forest is creepy and it feels too realistic. I feel a cold shiver run through me, so I cross my arms to keep them warm.
       Why couldn't they have made a trail of some sorts that I could follow? A trail would've made me feel at least a little bit safer... I begin to shake as the night comes, making the forest grow colder. Fuck! It's night time! Doesn't that mean monsters are coming out now? I hope not...
A snap interrupts my thoughts and before I know it, I'm jerked into the air and I find myself caught in a net. I squeal in surprise as I frantically look around for some sort of escape, but find none. Who the fuck sets up traps for anyone to stumble upon?! Was it even a player?! Could a monster have set this up?!
Maniacal laughter echoes in my ears, grabbing my attention. I look in the direction of the noise to see three tiny green creatures looking up at me with smug grins on their faces. "Aha! Look at that, boys! We caught one!" One of the creatures exclaims. Ogres? Orcs? What are those things? I know they can't be players, so what are they?
"Looks like we're having an Elven Mage tonight, fellas!" One of them announces happily. What?! They're going to eat me?! Pft, way to start off the new game, Craig. You walk through the woods and get eaten by green midgets. Just perfect.
One of the creatures waddles over to the tree I'm hanging on and cuts a rope. I gasp as I fall to the ground, still trapped inside the net. I hiss in pain as I hit the ground. The three little creatures approach me, so I back away to the best of my ability.
       One of them reaches down to grab the net I'm in, but an arrow comes out of no where and pierces his head. The tiny green monster falls to the ground, his body being replaced by his inventory. "Run! It's a Hunter!" One of the creatures yell before being hit with an arrow. The last one runs into the trees, escaping the 'Hunter'. A Hunter was one of the classes, wasn't it? Does that mean a player is here? Should I be thankful or scared?
       A tall figure emerges from the shrubbery and walks over to me, taking a good long look. My eyes widen as I stare at a familiar face. Tyler?! Tyler fucking Wilde just saved my ass?! Why isn't he being an asshole?! I know he doesn't know who I am, but he should still be acting like a big prick right now!
       "Hi bud, I'm Wildcat. Do you need some help there?" He asks while introducing himself. I look at him with shock even though he can't see my facial expressions. Is this actually happening?! Tyler is offering to help me? What's going on? "Y-Yeah." I stutter, dumbfounded.
       He puts the bow he was using on his back and pulls out a knife. Tyler cuts the net open, freeing me. "Thank you." I say with a small smile. "Any time. What's your username?" He questions me, returning my smile. "MiniLadd..." I answer as I crawl out of the net and stand up.

Accept or Deny?

I stare at the question in awe before clicking accept. "Fuck yeah! So, where are you headed?" Tyler, or should I say Wildcat, asks. "I'm just headed to the closest town. I haven't claimed a home yet." I reply. "Oh! So am I, but I've already claimed a house. You wanna be roommates?" Wildcat asks. A tint of red rises to my cheeks as my eyes widen. "S-Sure. Thank you." I stutter. "No problem, dude!" He exclaims

Accept or Deny?

I quickly click accept and smile happily. "Hey, my friends and I are trying to make a guild. Do you want to join?" He asks me with hope. "Sure!" I shout with excitement. "Nice! Let's get to the town so we can meet up with the guys. Vanoss will invite you to the guild when we get there." Wildcat says before grabbing my hand and taking off, dragging me with him.
