~ Chapter 7 ~

Mini's PoV

*The end of the school day*

The bell rings, so I quickly jump from my seat and collect my things. I rush out the door and to my locker. "Again, Tyler! Are you fucking kidding me?!" A familiar, harsh voice growls. I turn to see a scene similar to the one I saw yesterday. Yes! Tyler isn't going to mess with me today either! This is awesome! "Look, I've made new friends that aren't assholes on Evolution, so if you guys could politely fuck off, that would be well appreciated." Tyler remarks before running away.
"Damnit!!!" One of the bullies exclaim, slamming their fist against the locker. I flinch and gasp at the loud noise, earning their attention. Huge smiles grow on all of their faces as they stare at me. Uh oh. This can't be good. I quickly grab my book bag and lock my locker before running out the door. I listen as several pairs of footsteps follow me, pushing me to go faster.
I make it off school grounds and run along the sidewalk, the bullies still following closely behind me. My legs grow tired as exhaustion catches up with me, making me slow down. I can't run much longer! I need to hide! Just as that thought crosses my mind, I feel myself crash into someone. I look at the person I knocked over to see a boy with dark brown hair and bright, electric blue eyes.
"Sor-RY!!!!" I try to apologize, but I feel two arms wrapping around my own and harshly jerking me up off the ground. I kick and squirm as the bullies try to hold me still. The man I bumped into stares at me with shock before he says something that caught me off guard. "Mini?"

Delirious' PoV

I stare at the boy that bumped into me, feeling some sort of connection even though I've never seen him before. Curly, honey-colored hair. Bright, shining emerald eyes. Who the fuck is this guy? I've never seen this guy before, yet he seems so familiar...
"Sor-RY!!!" The boy says while getting jerked off of me by two boys that seem to be around his age. That voice! It couldn't be! Is that... "Mini?" I question in disbelief. The boy's eyes widen as he stares at me in shock before the guys that pulled him off of me slam him into a nearby wall, hitting him repeatedly.
NO ONE FUCKS WITH MY FRIENDS!!! I jump off of the ground and leap into action, yanking one of the four bullies away and punching him square in the nose. Mini and the other three boys stare at me in shock before the fight begins. One of them lunges for me, which I easily dodge and kick him to the ground as he stumbles forward. One of the bullies holding Mini to the brick wall throws a punch at me, hitting me in the jaw. I growl and swing back, hearing a crack when my fist meets his nose. The last one flies at me and tackles me to the ground, pinning my arms beside my head. I struggle to get free, but to no avail. I stare at him with my cold, blue eyes, spitting on him. "You little-" he starts but is cut off by a foot to the head. I take this chance to shove him off of me and kick him in the head, making sure he won't get back up for awhile.
       I look over at Mini whom stands in triumph as he stares at the boy he just kicked. He then directs his attention towards me and smiles. "Thanks, dude." He says while holding his hand up for a high five. "Anytime, Mini." I say while high fiving him. He raises an eyebrow at me to which I giggle. "Don't worry, bud. I'll message you when we get on Evolution. I'll tell you there, and by the way... Your lip is busted, so you might want to fix that up when you get home." I say before walking in the direction I was originally headed, home. I feel his curious gaze on my back, making me chuckle.

Mini's PoV

*When Mini logs on*

       I open my eyes and sit up, earning a gasp from beside me. I turn my head to see Wildcat sitting in a chair next to my bed. "Wildcat? What are you doing?" I ask with a confused expression on my face. "Well, uh, you usually get on about the same time I do, and you weren't online for around thirty minutes. I was worried about you." He explains, whispering the last part. My eyes widen at what he said, but I pretend I didn't hear him.
       "Oh, sorry, I hadn't done the laundry in a while, so I thought I'd switch out some loads before I got on." I lie, hoping he'd buy it. He stares at me for a moment, taking my lie into consideration until his eyes widen. Wildcat gives me a stern look while lifting his hand up and rubbing his thumb along my lip. I flinch as a sudden pain strikes me. "Your lip is busted, so you might want to fix that up when you get home." Damnit!!! I completely forgot about my lip!
       "Mini, what happened while you were offline?" Wildcat asks with an intimidating tone to his voice. "Look, Wildcat, some punks roughed me up a little, but I got away. I'm fine now, so there's nothing to get all worked up about." I huff while getting out of bed and leaving the room, Wildcat following me. "You're not getting out of this that easily! How'd you get away?" He questions with a softer expression on his face. "I had help." I answer before receiving a private message from Delirious.

H2ODelirious: Hiya, Mini!

MiniLadd: Hi, Delirious

H2ODelirious: How's your lip?

       I freeze and stare at the screen. It was Delirious?! I gaped as I remember his giggle whenever we finished the bullies off. How did I not realize it back at the fight?! No one has that insane laugh of his!!!

MiniLadd: I feel so stupid rn! I should've caught on when I heard that creepy ass laugh of yours

H2ODelirious: Hey! Fuck you! My laugh is beautiful :3 ;p
