~ Chapter 11 ~

Mini's PoV

       "Alright! Let's tally up what we have," Vanoss announces, "The fuck guys?! All we have is a giant ass net! Out of all the useful things in here, this is what we have?!" "Well, that's all we really need aside from bait, and I already know who it's gonna be." Nogla says with a devious grin. "Wait, we're using a person as bait?! How the fuck is that gonna work?! Shouldn't we lure it to the net with some food or some shit like that?" Terrorizer asks with wide eyes. "Well, the Griffin misses his master, right? So we'll just give him a new one!" Nogla counters while looking down at Lui.
       "Wait, Nogla... Why are you looking at me?" Lui questions with an eyebrow raised. The rest of us smile, realization hitting us. We look down at Lui as he's still completely oblivious. "You, my friend, are going to act as bait." Wildcat informs him, throwing and arm around his shoulder. A weird feeling rushes through me, but I brush it off as nothing. Nogla gives Wildcat a death glare until he takes his arm off of Lui.
       "What?! Why me?!" Lui exclaims in surprise. "Because you volunteered! Duh." Moo jokes. "I didn't volunteer! You guys volunteered me!" Lui squeaks. "I don't know what you're talking about. You obviously volunteered yourself. Quit messing around Lui, we have work to do." Vanoss teases before we walk out of the building.

*When they reach the forest the Griffin lives in*

       "You guys are assholes..." Lui mumbles from beneath the trap. Wildcat, Terrorizer, Delirious, and Marcel all are holding one end of the net. They are situated in trees that border a small clearing, waiting for the Griffin to walk underneath the net. Nogla and I are hiding in bushes, waiting for the guys to jump from the trees and trap the Griffin so we can cast calming spells on it. Vanoss, Moo, and Arlan are hiding in the shadows, waiting incase something goes wrong.
       Suddenly, a loud squawk echoes throughout the forest, signifying that the Griffin is near. The Griffin squawks again before making it's appearance. The creature flys down to the ground, it's wings sending strong gusts of wind that knocks Lui over. He stares at the Griffin with fear as it walks closer to him. Lui crawls backwards, out of the net's range.
       "Now!" Vanoss exclaims. Wildcat, Terrorizer, Delirious, and Marcel jump from the trees and onto the ground, holding the net down with all the strength they can muster up. Nogla and I emerge from the shrubbery and cast our spells. Instead of calming the Griffin, the spells seem to anger it more.
       It flaps it's wings and starts flying away, the guys still hanging onto the net. "Wildcat!!!" I scream out as the Griffin is now dangerously high in the air. "Mini!!!" He screams back until the Griffin, as well as the guys, are out of sight. I fall to my knees and stare into the sky where the Griffin once was, literally growling in anger. "Calm down, Mini. We're gonna save them. Chill out." Nogla says, patting me on the back. I huff and stand up, my blood still boiling.
I yelp as I feel someone grab my waist from behind. I turn to see a serious Moo Snuckle. "Moo, what the fuck are you doing?" I spit angrily. "This." He says before spreading his wings and taking off. I scream as I watch the ground get farther and farther away. "Mini, you and Nogla need to continue casting spells at the Griffin when we get close enough." Vanoss says from next to us. I look to my right to see Vanoss carrying Nogla. "Wait, where's Lui and Arlan?" I question with an eyebrow raised. "They're running behind us." Moo answers with a chuckle.
As we're flying, the sound of familiar screams ring through our ears. They sound like a bunch of little girls... I wish I had a camera so I could record this shit. Why can we take screenshots and not videos? I guess I was wrong... This game doesn't have everything.
"Get ready, boys..... Now!" Vanoss exclaims. Nogla and I both begin to cast our spells, struggling a little seeing as though we're doing it in the air instead of on the ground. The Griffin flies lower as the spells start to kick in. "Would you guys hurry the fuck up! My hands are slipping!" Terrorizer exclaims fearfully. I hear Moo gasp from behind me as he redirects his attention to Terrorizer. "Mini, I'm going to sit you on top of the Griffin so I can help Terrorizer." Moo explains before he flies over the Griffin and puts me down.
I watch Moo fly to Terrorizer's assistance before continuing to cast spells. The Griffin gets close enough to the ground for the guys to let go of the net and land on the ground safely. Once they all move out of the way, the Griffin lands. I hop off of it's back and pull the net off, freeing the Griffin. It let's out a really loud squawk before ruffling it's feathers and resituating itself on the ground.
"Hurry, Lui! Claim it before our spells ware off!" Nogla shouts. Lui runs over to the Griffin and begins typing something on his keypad.

"Squeaker?! Where the fuck did you get that name from?!" Marcel asks. "Well, he reminds me of a cute little squeaky toy!" Lui chirps, hugging the Griffin's neck since that's the only part of it he can wrap his arms around. "Lui... That thing is anything but little."
