Harry and I sit in the forest. I'm sat on a log, my cold legs bouncing.

"You alright, baby?" he asks.

I look up at him. His normal look had returned. But I was still stuck in my vampire look.

"Uh, yeah. I guess."

He scoots closer to me and kisses my neck, calming me down.

"You'll get the hang of all this eventually." he says.

I sigh and rest my head on his.

"I'm starting to doubt that."

He takes my hand and stands us up.

"You have literary forever to learn. I think you'll get the hang of this soon."

I let a puff of air out and look down.

"Look at me. I'm not the same girl anymore. I still don't understand how this happened." I say.

Harry lowers his face to mine, brushing his thumb against my cheek.

"I'm sorry I did this to you." he says.

I squeeze his hand tighter.

"Harry, I love you more than anyone else. If you hadn't changed me, I would have died. You pretty much saved me." I say.

He looks down.

"No. I made you like me. The one thing I said I would never do to you."

I nudge my nose against his face.

"Hey. I'm ok. We're together, that's all that matters."

I could feel him smile. We start walking and soon we're back in town. Harry kept me hidden. I just can't figure out how to change back to normal.

We find our flat and quickly run inside. Harry lets me go and I look in the mirror. I look normal.

"Really?" I say.

Harry wraps his arms around me from behind, burying his face into the back of my neck.

"You're beautiful either way." he says.

I sigh and we sit on the couch. I feel my neck. Those fang bites are still there. That reminder is still there. That horrible reminder of that horrible day. Being changed was the most painful thing I'd ever had to go through. As if being bitten down on with horribly sharp teeth wasn't bad enough, Harry biting down and draining me of all blood wasn't that pleasant either.

I lay on Harry's chest and wind our fingers together. He places a kiss on my head.

"Is this how it's always going to be? Is every day going to be the same?" I ask.

Harry holds me closer.

"Who knows? Surprising things can happen. You, for one example." he says.

I look up at him and give him a half smile.

"I love you." I say.

He kisses my nose, causing my face to scrunch.

"I love you too. Meeting you was the best two weeks of my life."

I nod.

"Me too. Except now we really aren't living." I say.

He shrugs.

"Oh well. We're together. That's all I need."

I rest my head down on his chest and close my eyes.
