Chapter 17

Not many words were said when we got home. There wasn't really much to say for once, anyway. I set Aura down and she walked back over to her blanket. Harry and I stayed in the kitchen. I leaned against the wall, arms crossed.

"Harry, they know now." I say.

He walks over and faces me, our noses almost touching.

"It doesn't matter. They wont do anything."

I bite my lip, then lightly bump my forehead on his.

"Are you sure?"

Harry nods then gives me a light, soft kiss.

"I'm sure. The only ones we need to watch out for are the humans. Liam and Louis, they're vampires. Its not like they're going to tell anyone. They'll get caught too. It wouldn't be worth it. And even they are not that stupid." I nodded, then took a deep breath.

"Good."

Harry smiled and kissed me again.

"Um, Harry?" I said.

"Hm?" he mumbled, kissing my neck.

I looked down a little, then wrapped my arms around his middle.

"What would happen if we did get caught?"

Harry sighed and cupped my face, brushing my cheeks with his thumbs.

"Baby, please stop thinking about that. Its not going to happen. You need to stop worrying." he says, giving me a warm smile.

I let a puff of air out, then I nod.

"Ok. Sorry."

He kisses me again, then we walk back into the living room.

I was out the next day hunting alone. I was pressed against a tree, listening for noise. My fangs had grown from hunger. I saw some movement, so I walked toward it silently. As soon as I was close enough, I jumped it, knocking it over.

Then I realized it wasn't an animal. My eyes grew and I quickly scrambled off.

Louis.

He had a dumb smirk across his face.

"Woah, there, Naomi."

I rolled my eyes, then stood up, brushing myself off.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

He stood up, still with a big grin on his face.

"Ive just been wandering around. Didn't expect to run into you like this, though."

I groan.

"Sorry." I say sarcastically.

He shrugged.

"I didn't say I didn't like it." he said, winking.

My mouth dropped a little from disgust, then I rolled my eyes. "Please."

He laughed a little.

"Heard Haz got you pregnant. Interesting." he said, holding in laughs.

I ran my fingers through my hair, annoyed.

"Yes, ok. We have a daughter. Just stay away from her. Harry would kill you, and I just don't want her around you." I say, stepping away.

Louis smiled, then nodded.

"Ok, then. Did I say I wanted to be near her? And by the way, its very rare for vampire babies to be born. So, good luck." he says, giving me a sarcastic thumbs up.

I rolled my eyes again.

"Goodbye, Louis." I say, turning around.

"See ya later, sweetheart." he said.

My fists tightened as I walked away.
