*3 MONTHS LATER*

Aura can easily walk now, and I'm finally getting the hang of all this.

Once she learned how to walk, she would always hobble everywhere, making us chase her. Which is fun, for a little bit. Her legs are a lot stronger than a normal baby girl, so that's how she knows how to walk.

She's very loud at night with all her yelling and, well, talking I guess. She's still a secret, which surprises me. I can't believe no ones found out about her yet. But our neighbor did come by one day.

I was on the couch with Aura, who was squealing and making all sorts of tiny yet loud noises. I was bouncing her on my leg, and covering her mouth once in a while to show her not to be so loud. There was suddenly a knock at the door.

My body tensed up and I looked in that direction. I looked around, then brought Aura upstairs. I set her in her crib, and lowered my face to hers.

"I'll be right back." I tell her, poking her nose.

She smiled in response, touching my face. I kissed her fingers, then walked downstairs. The knocking hadn't stopped.

"Coming!" I said, then opened the door.

The neighbor looked at me in a strange way.

"Um, can I help you?" I asked.

She looked behind me, then back at me.

"Yeah, I was just wondering about the noise."

I tensed up again, then bit my lip. She must have seen my fangs, because her eyes had grown a little. I quickly hid my teeth and smiled.

"Sorry, that must have been the TV. My boyfriend and I were watching a movie. I guess it was a bit loud. Sorry about that." I lie, a hopefully convincing smile on my face.

The lady hesitated, then slowly nodded.

"Ok. I was just wondering. Sorry to disturb you." she said.

Since Harry was out getting food, I was really hungry at that point. And I really wanted this lady to leave before I lost control. My fists tightened and I bit the inside of my lip. I could feel my skin become even colder, and my fangs were growing.

"I have to go now, sorry." I say, quickly closing the door.

My back pressed against the door, my breathing heavy.

"Come on, Harry." I said quietly.

Then I jogged back upstairs and grabbed Aura. Her skin was getting whiter too. I rubbed her soft face with my fingertips, then kissed her cheek.

"Daddy will back soon, love." I tell her, setting her down on a small blanket along with her toys.

She grabbed a block and started playing. I smiled and sat on the couch. Harry came back a little bit later. And I suddenly understood what took him so long. He gathered so much blood, it was unbelievable.

My eyes lit up when I saw him. Aura quickly stood up and wobbled over to Harry, a huge smile on her face. He smiled, set the blood down on the table, and picked her up, kissing her cheek.

"There you are. What did you catch?" I asked, looking at all the blood.

He proudly smiled and nudged his face against Aura's.

"Three deer. It was a good day. Now drink up. You're as pale as snow." he says.

I nod and have my fair share of blood. It felt so good to have my face regain its color. Aura grabbed her bottle and fed herself in her highchair Harry had put her in. I licked my lips and kissed Harry. His arms wrapped around me, squeezing me.

I bit my lip at his beautiful face and received another kiss to the cheek. Aura squealed, letting us know she was done. Her face was back to normal. She looked so beautiful. Just like Harry. She's defiantly his daughter. Her hair, eyes, she even has cute, deep dimples on either side of her cheeks. I smiled, lifted her up, and kissed her cheek.
