*5 YEARS LATER*
"Mummy, come on!" Aura grabbed my hand, pulling me along.
"Ok, ok, sweetheart. I'm coming as fast as I can." I say, laughing.
Harry packed the last of the things in our car, and looked over at us. "Come on slowpokes!" he says.
I groan and we all pile into the car.
"Ready, Aura?" I ask as Harry pulls out of the driveway.
Aura looks up at me and smiles, showing her two missing teeth. "Yes!"
I smile and poke her tummy. She laughs and messes with her football uniform. This is her first game of the season, and she's so exited.
Aura is in kindergarten, just like any normal little girl. She's learned to control herself very well, and comes home during lunchtime for her fill of blood.
Everyone knows what we are, but that's ok because there are a lot more of us around here. I'm so happy that everything worked out for us. And here Aura is, on her way to her first football game. And her even being around other children is something I never thought she would be able to do. I'm so proud of her. Shes our sunshine. Shes our world.
We pull into the parking lot of the football field. After we finally get out of the car, Aura quickly runs over to her team. They all smile and hug, and she looks so happy.
Harry and I lay a blanket down in the grass and watch her play. The little girls and boys kick the football around without a care in the world. The happiness on their faces is beautiful.
Harry wraps an arm around my shoulders, and my head rests on his. Aura kicks the ball into the goal, resulting in loud cheers from the crowd, and very loud cheers from Harry. I laugh and kiss him.
Aura finds us in the crowd, smiles, and waves. We wave our fingers back at her, then she continues to play. All of those little kids look so cute in their tiny uniforms.
They take a break after a little bit, and Aura runs back to us. She sits in Harry's lap, and I fix her ponytail. Her shiny curly hair has grown so long and beautiful.
"You're doing such a great job, Aura." Harry tells her, kissing her cheeks.
Her face scrunched up and she smiles.
"Daddy." she says, looking a little embarrassed.
I laugh a little.
"What? I'm embarrassing you? How about now?" he says, kissing her all over her cheeks and tickling her sides.
She squeals with laughter and frees herself from Harry's lap.
"Ok, ok. Your team needs you." I say, pointing to the little kids forming a huddle by their coach.
She smiles, then runs over to join them. Harry sits behind me, his arms around my middle.
"I love you." he says, kissing the back of my head.
I smile and grab onto his hands, squeezing them.
"I love you more." I could feel him smile.
We watched Aura for awhile. She looked like she was having so much fun. I'm so glad she can have this freedom. For such a long time, no one accepted us anywhere. But now, its like no one really cares we're vampires anymore. Sure, there are some that still despise us, but we don't let them bother us. We're happy and that's all that matters.
"Did we miss much?" I heard a familiar voice say.
Harry and I turn around to see Louis, Liam, Zayn, and Perrie. All of us had made peace ever since we were released. Harry, Louis, and Liam are doing a wonderful job of putting their friendship back together. And as for Zayn and Perrie, they're actually close friends of ours now. And I'm one hundred percent sure they love each other.
They all kneeled down next to us, and Perrie took a seat by me. Harry's hands went around me again, and Zayn's chin rested on Perries shoulder.
We all watched Aura play until the game was finally over. All of the kids ran back to their parents, and Aura ran back over to us.
"Nice job, sweetheart." Louis says, poking her nose.
She giggles a little and sits in Harry's lap.
"Well, we better go. Nice to see you though." Perrie said, bringing her and Zayn up.
Everyone says goodbye, and we drive back home.
"You did so good today." I tell Aura.
She looks up at me and smiles.
"Yes you did. I can see it now. "Aura Styles. Champion football player."" Harry says, dramatically picking her up and swinging her around his head.
She laughs and begs him to put her down.
"Alright, Aura. Go upstairs and get ready for your bath." I tell her.
She turns around and runs up the stairs to her bedroom. Harry grins and hugs me from behind, kissing my neck and face up and down.
"God I love you so much, baby." he says.
I smile, feeling the butterflies in my stomach grow. Even after all these years, Harry's touch still has that affect on me.
"I love you too." I say, kissing his fingertips.
"You know, we did pretty good with Aura, don't you think?" I said, squeezing his hands.
"Yep. She turned out alright considering all we went through."
I bit my lip and turned around to face him.
"We've learned a lot about being parents. I think its fair to say we're professionals." I say, grinning.
Harry smiled back, then kissed my forehead. "Yep."
I pressed my forehead against his and smiled.
"Do you think you would want to try another?" I asked, cutting Harry's breath short.
He looked at me, his eyebrows raised. "What?"
I laughed a little and put his large hand on my stomach.
"Surprise."
