*1 MONTH LATER*

We didn't move.

Nothing has happened, and I'm praying nothing will. But my stress wont leave. Whenever I'm out hunting, I almost cant concentrate with all the worried thoughts filling my mind.

The news is filled with this vampire story, and I'm pretty sure they caught another one. I cant even imagine what the humans to do them. The first one caught was killed, and that makes me sick to my stomach even at the thought.

One day we're all at the house, and my legs wont quit bouncing. And when there was a knock at the door, I shot up to my feet and my breath was caught short.

"Harry." I said, backing away.

I took Aura and kept her close.

"Just relax." Harry said, walking toward the door.

There were three men and a woman. They talked to Harry, but all I heard was mumbling. Then Harry looked back at me, his eyes showing pain. That's when I picked Aura up and held her closer than ever. The people walked in, looking around.

"Can we help you?" I asked.

They looked at me.

"Yes. We have a few questions for you." The lady said.

I tried my best not to look nervous. I nodded and walked closer to them.

"Are you aware that we have discovered what looks like vampires around these parts?" the lady asked.

My stomach filled with knots, and I nodded.

"Yes. Ive heard."

She looked at me, almost with a death glare.

"Mam, people have reported seeing and hearing odd or suspicious behavior coming from this household."

I bit my lip, then nodded.

"How old is this child, here?" She asked, pointing at Aura.

I looked at her, then back at the lady.

"Nine months, now." I say.

She nods.

"And how old are you?"

I step back, a little scared of this lady.

"Um, eighteen." I say, my eyes making their way to the floor. I'm sure if I was human, I would be eighteen by now. I'm not really keeping track of the months anymore.

"So you're a teenage mother?"

I nod.

"And is he the father?" she asked, pointing at Harry.

Why does she need to know this?

"Yes." I tell her, my confusion showing.

"How old is he?" She asked, writing on her notepad.

I had to remember how old Harry was when he was changed.

"Nineteen." I say, trying to look normal.

She nodded, then looked up at me.

"Can I see your teeth?"

She must be looking for fangs. I licked my teeth, checking if they were normal, and showed her. She nodded.

"May I see her teeth?" she asked, pointing at Aura.

"Aura, show your teeth please." I say to her.

Aura looked at me then showed me her teeth, which were thankfully normal at the time.

The lady nodded and lead me back over to Harry. He looked at me, obviously nervous. The humans stared at us, looking at us up and down.

"Please extend your wrist." The lady told me, holding her hand out.

I showed her my wrist, and she felt my skin. Once she felt the cold touch, her eyes grew.

"Your skin feels exactly like the others did." She said, which made me more nervous than ever.

Harry and I both didn't say a word. These people were making us angry. How dare they come into our home and do this to us. I could see Harry's eyes turning red brown, which worried me, because mine were probably the same.

"Their eyes." A man pointed out.

Harry and I looked at each other, then back at the people invading our privacy.

"Are you vampires?" The lady asked, stepping back a little.

I looked down, tears threatening to fall. My fangs were back out of anger, but I didn't show them.

"What are you planning to do with us?" Harry asked, his fangs back as well.

"They are." The man said, stepping closer to us.

I held onto Harry, and he took Aura, holding her with one hand.

They led us out of our home, and into cars. This is it. We're caught. I couldn't hold back the tears I was fighting anymore.

"Harry." I said, holding onto his arm.

We were in the back of a car, and he looked down at me.

"We'll be ok." He whispered.

I kissed Aura, praying they wouldn't do anything to her. Or Harry. They're not touching my babies.
