Chapter 15 - cheating

Umaalingawngaw pa din ung sinabi ni Tristan sa akin last time. He's really pathetic. Hindi pa naman ako pumapayag sa gusto niyang mangyari eh dahil hindi ko pa ibinibigay ang matamis kong oo. Buti na lang Wednesday ngayon. Nasa school siya kaya makakagawa ako ng maayos sa opisina. Pumasok si Ate Andy sa opisina ko.

"How's your tour with Mr. Perez yesterday?" she's teasingly asked.

"Well, it's quite good but I don't want him to be with us here in company. Abala siya sa trabaho ko." Asar kong sabi.

"Hm! Alam mo little sister he's kinda cute and hot." Nagniningning ang mga mata niya habang sinasabi ang katagang iyan.

"Don't tell me you have a crush on him. Kung gusto mo ikaw na lang ang gumawa ng mga ipinagagawa ni daddy para naman magkakilanlanan kayo." Inirapan ko siya. Kakainis kasi. Cute at hot ba si Tristan? Errrrr! Saan banda?
"Selos ka naman little sister, don't worry crush ko lang siya." At natatawa siyang lumabas ng opisina niya. What's wrong with her?

Ginusot ko yung scratch paper at ibinato ito sa pintuan. Hindi naman natamaan si Ate kasi umalis na nga siya.

"HINDI AKO SELOS!!!!!" sumigaw ako at umalingawngaw sa opisina ko yung boses na nilikha ko. Bumalik na naman si Ate Andy.

"Xandra, can't you hear your voice? Just minimize it. Baka mapagkamalan kang baliw. Don't be affected with what I'm saying baka magkatotoo." She smiled playfully. I gave her my deadliest glare.

"Get out," yun ang tangi kong nasabi. Naiirita ako. Bakit natripan akong asarin ni Andrea Janice Hernandez? Bahala nga siya.

I'm having my coffee break alone. I'm here at the coffee shop to drink coffee and to eat cheesecake.

I'm quietly sitting, eating cheesecake and drinking coffee as well. Suddenly, when I looked around, someone caught my attention. It's Raven with the girl I don't know, who were sitting on the other side. If he's cheating on me I don't even care. What Tristan said reminds me again to use him for vengeance thingy. I don't think it's a good idea but there's nothing wrong if I'll try it. I just ignore Raven like I don't see him. I just continue what I'm doing.

After few minutes, someone sat beside me. "Hi! AJ, how are you?" Drake gave me a sweetest smile. I also smiled at him. "I'm fine DK, why are you here?" I asked while eating.

"I just wanna see you," then he winked at me. This guy is perfectly gorgeous.

I was irritated as I gazed in Raven's direction. I gasped every time I look at them. Napansin siguro ni DK na napapatingin ako sa direksyon nina Raven.

"He is your ex-boyfriend, isn't he?"

My jaw dropped when he mentioned that. Drake knew that I have an asshole ex-boyfriend but he never met him before. So how did he know? My eyes widened from his question. Maybe, he is really good in observing people.

"You could still remember it huh!" I was shocked nung inakbayan ako ni Drake at bigla siyang nagsalita.

"Sweetie, I really miss you, I'm gonna die if I don't see you." He's really exaggerated huh! He wants to get the attention of Raven. Di ko akalain na may ganitong side si Drake. Sige sasakyan ko ang trip niya. I'm gonna show my bitchy side.

I faced Drake then I wrapped my arms into his neck. I thought Raven was noticed us because I've seen it in my peripheral view though I'm not looking at him obviously. I was secretly smirked when he saw what I did. I came near to Drake's ear and whispered "he finally noticed us."

I saw in my peripheral view that he's mad. Kaya lang hindi siya makalapit sa amin kasi may kasama siyang girl. Tumayo na sila and I think palabas na sila. Nagpaeffect naman kami ni Drake na naglalambingan. Before sila lumabas tumingin ulit si Raven sa direksyon namin habang sinusubuan naman ako ni Drake ng cheesecake. Kunwari hindi ko siya napansin. Asar siyang lumabas ng coffee shop.

"AJ, ayos ah, effective," sabi ni Drake na natatawa sa reaksyon ni Raven. I wonder bakit siya nandito ngayon sa coffee shop.

"DK, I will ask you again, why are you here? I just wonder." Hindi naman siya mapapapunta sa coffee shop na ito kung wala siyang pakay. Because this coffee shop is near our company.

"Well, I have an appointment that's why I'm here." He changed into serious mode when he answered my question.

"Ah, sino namang ka-appointment mo?" I asked in a serious tone.

"I'm going to your company to have a business meeting and then I saw you so I decided to go here first." He flashed a smile and it's kinda cute.

"Ah okey, sige sabay na tayo papunta doon."

"Tapos ka na ba?" He asked me if I'm done eating.

"Yeah, let's go."

We're here at the company.

"I wonder why my Dad chose to invest in this company, now I know," he said cheerfully. I just stared at him. Kailangan ko din magpasalamat sa kanya at sa pamilya niya dahil sila ang tumulong sa amin para maisalba ang kompanya namin. Hindi ko maiwasang hindi humanga kay Drake. I've seen him really perfect. Napasmile na lang ako. Luminga-linga siya sa paligid ng kompanya. Nakakatuwang isipin na ang liit ng mundo para maging investors ng company namin sina Drake.

Muli siyang nagsalita, "Where's your father anyway?"

"I'll accompany you in his office, this way sir." At itinuro ko ang way papunta sa office ni Dad.

"Seriously?" then he chuckled.

Napakunot naman ang noo ko. Mukha ba akong hindi seryoso?

Mukhang nagets niya yung pagkunot ng noo ko. "Natawa lang ako kasi you called me sir."

"Since this is a business meeting and you are here in our company so I need to be formal." Seryoso pero nakasmile kong sabi.

When we reach my Dad's office, I knocked on the door. I heard someone who says "come in" so I opened it.

"Mr. Hernandez, you have a visitor. One of the investors in our company," Pormal kong sabi. That was the first time I call him Mr. Hernandez in front of others. I want to let them know that I'm respecting him as my father and boss as well. Mukha bang nagbabago na ang isang "Alexandra"?

"Sige, iwan mo muna kami ni Mr. Paz," Dad said.

Sumenyas naman si Drake na pupuntahan niya ako mamaya. Mukhang seryosong usapan ang pag-uusapan nila at pinalabas pa ako. Medyo inilapit ko ang pandinig ko sa pintuan para mag-eavesdrop.

I couldn't hear their conversation clearly. Pero narinig ko bigla ang pangalan ko. "Kumusta naman si Xandra? Mabait ba siya sa'yo?"

Ha? Bakit ganun ang tanong ni Dad kay Drake? Mukha ba akong hindi mabait?

"Yes sir, she's really nice, interesting and gorgeous." Namula ako sa sinabi ni Drake. Does he need to tell that badly? I'm just wondering why they were talking about me and not about the company. Naramdaman ko na may paparating kaya inialis ko agad ang pandinig ko sa may pintuan. And because of that, I didn't hear their conversations already.
