Chapter 24: Let The Prank Wars Begin!

Colton's POV.😐

I was sitting on my bed and my phone buzzed. I picked it up confused, no one would be texting me now.

It was Mac! I unlocked my phone and read the text.

M: Hey dude, it's Mac. Can I come over, I gotta talk to u?

C: Umm...sure?

M: Ik this is weird but k ill be over in 10..is ur sis home btw?

C: yeah she is....her,Hall's, Kaleigh, and Melissa r hanging out in her room I think.

M: K c u soon

C: Kk

I texted Evie that Mac was coming over, then put down my phone and went downstairs to meet Mac.

Evie's POV.😏

Its been about a week since I went to lunch with Mac. The girls are here and we are all hanging out in my room. My phone buzzed and I picked up my phone and read Colton's text. The girls looked at me, "What does it say?" They ask in unison.

"It's from Colton, it says Mac's coming over in like 5" I tell them.

Kaleigh looks at Halley and they exchange a look that makes me scared.

"Why is that a big deal?" Melissa asked.

"Evie didn't tell you?" Kaleigh asked.

"Didn't tell me what??" Melissa says.

"Her and Mac had lunch at their childhood restaurant and her pranked her, plus we all know Mac likes her!" Kaleigh explains.

"Oh god, he does not! We are FRIENDS! He was just being nice and yes he did prank me, what does that have to do with it?!" I say exasperated.

"He so does, but never mind that, he pranked you....so it's time to prank him! Didn't you say you were gonna get him back for that? I swear, you are so stupid sometimes!" Halley explains.

"Oh look who's talking 'Miss. I don't know what an armadillo looks like!' But yeah, lets prank him and we might as well prank Colton while we're at it!" I say.

"Really Halley? And maybe Colton could help us prank Mac because they are hanging out!" Melissa suggests.

"Eh, not as fun but ok." I say reluctantly.

We hear a pair of footsteps and a pair of crutches go by my room and into Colton's.

"Well, I guess Mac's here!" I say.

We discuss pranks and when we have one, I text Colton. Hopefully he doesn't ruin it!

We get our prank ready and I text Colton we are ready. We run, well in my case hobbled daout of my room and hide behind some bushes behind my house. We hear Colton and Mac walk out.

"What are we doing-" Mac starts saying. We jump out, throw Colton a water gun and we all start shooting at Mac. When we run out of water, Mac runs after us but I push him into our pool with one of my crutches. He comes up sputtering and Colton gives him a hand out of the pool.

"Feel nice Mac? I told you I would get you back!" I say with and evil grin.

"Oh yeah! It's always been my dream to be soaked and then pushed in my neighbors pool! Didn't you know? You are so lucky I have a waterproof cast Evie! You are lucky my crutches aren't ruined as well! But I did know you would get me back, you always do!" Mac replies.

He hobbles up to me and puts up his hand for a high-five. I bring my hand up to smack his but he grabs it and throws me into the pool. Luckily, I have a waterproof cast as well because knowing me, I would get my foot wet somehow! Still it was rude for him to push poor, crippled me into the pool!

I come up, and spit out "Well played...let the Pranks Wars begin Macaulay"

Sorry about the chapter being late, my grandma came, so I had to move downstairs! Anyways, hope you liked that chapter! The Prank War should be interesting!! I'm going off to camp soon so Hayley will be writing the next few chapters!
