Chapter 24







(Maggie's POV): John was practically living with me.




We'd walk school together and then he'd go to the rehearsals at Paul's whilst I stayed home with Mozart and Rose. And he would arrive home at night and I would cook us dinner and we would sleep together.




And Mimi was okay with that.




Oh, and John and Julia started talking again. But obviously they never talk about me, they just pretend I don't exist.




Anyway, today was the big day: John and his band were going to play at The Cavern to Brian Epstein.




I invited Martha, Rose and Jane to get ready for the concert at my house.




I was going to wear a short red dress.




I helped Rose with her make up - when she asked that we all got surprised, Rose never wears make up, she's the natural kind of girl, you know- When I finished she didn't even recognize herself.




I haven't hang out with them for so long. I missed that so much.




We walked to The Cavern, we were 30 minutes late so we were almost running. Some drunk guys whistled at us but we didn't give a shit, except Jane of course.




She blew kisses.




We arrived at The Cavern Club, payed and went down stairs.




The place was literally a cavern and it smelled alcohol and cigarettes.




The boys were already on the stage, playing She Loves You - God how I love that song.




They were really good and they knew it. Stu winked at some birds and they all went crazy.




I laughed.




"Okay now, this is a new song, it's called Run for Your Life" Paul announced and they started playing.
