Zeref's POV

Finally, it's time. "Your forces are waiting for your commands Sire." Invel walked in as I sighed giving a slight hit on his head, "I thought I told you before to call my name." He chuckled, "Alright alright...Zeref."

"Much better." We walked down the hallway and out to the outer courts where the whole army were waiting for my presence. I noticed August and few other Spriggan 12 members were waiting there too except for Eileen, Nienhart, Brandish and Ajeel.

August walked up to me as he bowed down and spoke, "Sire I was wondering where are the other members?" I smiled, "Don't you worry, I gave them orders to test the waters first before we really go all for it. I just want to see how strong they have grown over the past few days ever since our battle here." August smirked at my reaction, "What a genuine idea Sire."

"You know what to do August, I'm counting on you and so is Eileen." He bowed and left the palace on his own. "Alright we shall move onward towards the human world. This will be the final war between humans and vampires!" Immediately I could hear a loud roar from the army as they marched forward leaving the castle.

Invel was walking right beside me as usual, "Zeref are you sure August could leave on his own? We should send some troops to his side as well."

"He'll be fine as he is. After all he's the strongest among the 12 and his magic is extremely powerful. You should know about this." He straightened his glasses, "I see." I'm coming soon Jellal...the battle between the two of us is just one step away.

TIMESKIP

Jellal's POV

It's cold, dark and quiet here. Maybe it's best if I'm left alone for a while. I closed my eyes for a while trying to rest but I couldn't. The scene kept playing on my mind where Erza took the blow that was meant for me. I felt tears running down my face as I opened my eyes and sat up straight finding myself in a weird room. Two huge mirrors along with giant black and white chess pieces were arranged at the both sides. Then I looked up seeing a huge glass chandelier shining brightly as I starred at it for a while till I looked in front seeing my other self.

"How unlike you to be brought into this mess..." he said as he walked closer to me.

More tears were running down my face, "I don't know what to do anymore. I can't even protect her. I should have taken that blow instead of her." He came and hugged me tightly as he rubbed my back trying to calm me down. "She did it out of love and that's why she protected you. Tell me something what would have happened if you had taken the blow? Would you like to see her getting all upset?" My eyes widened as he wiped off the tears smiling, "I know how you feel me..."

"All I want was to see her smile again and bring end to this war." His eyes widened as he smiled after few minutes. He patted on my head, "Then I supposed you have made your decision?" I looked at him raising my eyebrow, "Decision?"

He gave a wink at me as I snickered hitting my face slightly as I stood up, "Yes." I gave a straight answer with a smile on my face as his eyes widened and chuckled. "Then it's time you should wake up me!"

I woke up from my deep sleep and saw Erza sleeping soundly on my chest. I gave a soft smile as I touched her hair gently. She yawned as she stretched her arms and opened her eyes gazing at me. Her face beamed brightly as she hugged me nuzzling at the cheek, "You are awake! I was worried sick!"

I cupped her cheeks and kissed her lips as she returned back as well. "Thank you Erza..." I said as her eyes widened and pulled my head to her bosom. I felt my heart beating fast as sweat drops on my face feeling my body slightly heated up.

Suddenly the door opened widely as Wendy came in crying, "I was worried sick of you Jellal!!!!!" She stopped halfway and jumped onto the bed hugging me as her tears continued flowing out, "Thank goodness you are safe!!!!!!" I patted on her head, "I won't ever leave you alone Wendy."

"JELLAL!!!!! YOU'RE AWAKE FINALLY!!!!!" I looked up seeing Natsu and the others smiling at the door as they came in and sat around me. Porlyusica came in with her serious look more like a normal expression as always. "Kids these days always getting into trouble." We laughed as she smiled and left some hot tea on the table and went left the room to continue her work. "Call me if you need anything." She said before leaving.

"ALRIGHT JELLAL FIGHT ME!!!!!" said Natsu as Lucy stopped him, "It's that all you can think of now? Jellal just woke up from a deep sleep and you want to fight him?" Gray added, "Trust me Lucy just let that idiot be. He's a total dumb."

"What did you say droopy eyes?"

"Who are you calling squinty eyes?"

"THAT'S ENOUGH!!!!!" Erza gave a stern look as the both of them turned pale white and sat down on the chair quietly. I chuckled at the scene seeing Erza being herself as usual. Then we heard a knock on the door as Porlyusica entered with Gajeel and Levy.

"Hey you guys!" said Levy as she and Gajeel stepped in. "What took you so long Levy?" Lucy asked as Levy rubbed her head, "Well we met some acquaintances and we brought them here."

"You can come in now fellas." said Gajeel. Our jaws dropped wide opened the moment we saw familiar faces that we don't ever want to see again.

"COBRA?????????"
