Makarovs's POV

I heard a knock on the door seeing Laxus coming in. "What is it?" I asked as he came handing me the reports and leaning on the couch with his hands at the back of his head. I took a look over the reports and put them aside the table. "Shouldn't you be going back home now Laxus?"

"I will just let me sleep for a while." I raised my eyebrow as I took my coat and left the keys to him. "Make sure you lock up this place before leaving." He gave a soft whine as I took my hat and wore my coat leaving the office. Halfway walking down the stairs I saw Erza walking past by carrying some stuff.

She turned and greeted me, "Have a good day master." 

"You too Erza, it's getting late better go home as soon you finished what you are doing." 

She nodded and smiled back, "I will. Goodnight master." 

I smiled and continued to walk out of the academy and through the streets. It was already night and the streets were quiet and slightly dark with only dim lights. Then, I heard someone snickering and I stopped. 

"My my Makarov you have done a good job." I turned around trying to find that voice but was nowhere to be found. Suddenly I felt a chill as the streets started to snow and I saw a shadow figure standing on one of the buildings. "As I expected it's you." The shadow figure gave an evil grin, "Why wouldn't you. I have been waiting all these years and now I'll finish you by my own hands!" 

TIMESKIP

Erza's POV

I put the stuff at the student council's room and locked them up. I felt a sudden warmth of someone wrapping hands around my waist and I immediately guessed who it was. I messed his hair smiling, "Aren't you going back Jellal?" He released his hot breath at my neck, "Not without you." He said placing his head on top on my shoulders. "Let's go lovebirds." We both stopped seeing Laxus standing at the corner smirking. We laughed taking our bags leaving the academy when all of the sudden Mest was running while carrying someone. His face was pale and shocked. 

Our eyes widened seeing master's body being bruised badly. "What happened?" Jellal asked as Mest quickly put master down on the floor. He gasped catching his breath and looked at us worriedly. "Run! Hurry! Before she comes!" 

"What do you mean?" Laxus was getting tensed and grabbed Mest collar. "Who did this to him?" Mest glared at him, "Didn't you hear what I just said? Get out of here!!" He covered his mouth as thin strips of blood leaked out between his fingers. 

"Hey you're alright?" I asked bending down towards him helping him up. Jellal supported him from his left and I on the right. Laxus carried master and headed to the infirmary. "Porlyusica!" Laxus shouted as she popped out of her office room and quickly treated gramps. We placed Mest on the bed and Laxus sat next to master. This is the first time I see Laxus being so tensed up. 

Jellal walked towards him patting him on his back, "You stay here. Me and Erza will go ahead to check what's going on." Laxus bro-fist with him, "Be safe ok?" Jellal smiled, "I promise." 

"One more thing make sure you better take care of your girl." Laxus added as I blushed turning away. "I will. She's my first priority." I felt my heart beat fast as we both ran out of the infirmary all the way to the gate entrance of the academy waiting for the enemy to strike.

Lucy's POV

"I win!!!!" I screamed as the others threw their cards sighing. "Oh man I lost again." said Natsu scratching his head. "Well Natsu it's your turn to make us dinner!" I said as Gray and Juvia chuckled at the back leaving Natsu scoffed at the side. "Fine we'll be eating steak tonight! Sounds good?"
