Lucy's POV

"Alright so which way do we go?" asked Gray while we were running. We somehow managed to figure out where were we and now we are heading back to the academy. "A few more minutes, we'll take a turn to the left and walah we made it back!" I said as we came across to the junction and took the left turn. "Gray we got company!" I yelled the moment I caught a scene of vampires heading towards our direction. "I got this, Ice devil rage!!!!!!" He let out a roar and after a few minutes, the vampires were turned to ice. More of them were coming in large numbers. "Loki I need your help here! Open gate of the Lion, Loki!" Loki appeared in the flash, as usual keeping his cool look he went straight to the vampires, "Regulus Impact!"

"Hah no one comes between me and my Lucy." he said putting straight his glasses. "What do you mean my Lucy?!?" I snapped at the side leaving him and Gray chuckling. "Lookout Lucy!" He jumped on top of me and punched two vampires away from behind. "Thanks Loki."

"Don't be but there's more to come." he said as another crowd surrounded us. "At this rate we'll never reach the gate!" said Gray as he released his ice attacks at them. Looks like I'll have to use more of my power to open another gate. "Stardress Taurus. Come on Taurus!"

"Oh Miss Lucy, you look fabulous as usual. Mind if I could get a smooch from yo...u?" I smashed my hand at his face before he could even finish his sentence. "I'll give you later after dealing with them."

Taurus gleamed excitedly as he took he swing his weapon, "Whatever you say Miss Lucy! I'll be waiting for that hot kiss of yours!!!! MMMOOOOOOO!!!!!" He gave a swing at them as they went flying in the air. "Lucy Kick!"

"Not bad Lucy." said Loki at the side. "Well, getting into my star dress form helps me to increase my powers to double."

"Ice Devil Zeroth Long Sword!" Gray swung his ice sword as they went crashing to the floor. Then one of them leaped up in the air aiming towards me. "Lucy lookup!" Gray yelled as I didn't have time to react to the situation. Luckily Laxus came over with his lightning attack. "Laxus!" I yelled with joy seeing Cana along with Mira and Elfman. "You guys came! Bet you all were separated to other parts of the city after that light came about."

Cana nodded her head, "Yeah and we got another major problem."

"What is it?" said Gray as he and Loki finished fighting the rest and joined in the conversation. Cana pouted and pointed up to the sky. "Woah a portal in the sky?!?" I screamed while looking at it. It's glowing brightly in different colours.

"Not only that but I'm thinking Zeref is planning onto something. We'll have to get up there and close it." said Cana. "Hold a sec, is that Jellal running up there." said Mira as everyone looked up. "Looks like he'll be getting to Zeref within minutes." said Laxus as another group of vampires came about. "Get ready guys." said Elfman. August came in front leading them towards us. "His Majesty has given explicit orders to finish them." he said as they rampaged on us. "Gray, you go ahead and helped Jellal. He might need some backup." said Laxus. "No way you are going to handle all of that." said Gray as Laxus looked back at him, "don't worry i'll handle this, go! You too Lucy!" Gray hitched as the both of us ran in getting all our way up. I watched from the back as they fought against the vampires.

Mira's POV

"There's too many of them!" said Elfman as he gave a hit on the ground using his beast form and they went flying in the air. Then the ground started cracking into pieces of blocks and hit towards the vampires except for August who practically blocked with his magic. We turned around seeing Gildarts coming from behind. "Looks like that opponent is mine." he said making an eye contact at August. August frowned his eyebrows at Gildarts, "Well indeed."

TIMESKIP

Zeref's POV

Hmhm, looks like he will be here anytime now. 3, 2, 1... "I was expecting you to show up, Jellal. I must say you look pretty exhausted." I turned around seeing him panting as I stepped down from my throne. I grinned walking closer to him and whispered into his ear, "If you want to finish me that badly, do it." Halfway I noticed his right arm has black marks on it. Looks like one of Larcade's magic attacks. Or maybe the transformation has begun.

He gave a sudden attack as I teleported to the other side giving the same attack. He noticed quickly and blocked my attack with his bare hands. "Impressive, you still managed to block my attack with your current state." He hissed backing away as I ran forward attacking him my dark blades almost destroying the balcony. He got hit by one of them and fell down two floors. "Ops, guess I overdid it again."

He flew up all of the sudden in flash and hit at the side of my abdomen using his claws.

Jellal's POV

Zeref gagged out blood dropping to his knees the moment I hit him with my claws. I grunted, clutching onto my right arm as the pain starts spreading along with the black marks all over my right arm. I leaned against the wall trying to endure the pain as it slowly continued through my body. I felt a heavy weight all over my back like it's going to tear apart.

"Haha, the attack you gave was quite a handful but still..." He slowly got up as I watched the wounds recovered quickly. "It's not enough." he grinned as he unleashed another wave of dark blades all around. I gritted my teeth dodging all of them.

Zeref came over with his sudden speed drawing out his sword and aiming it towards me. "Ice Make Shield!" I turned to the side, "Gray Lucy, what are you doing here?" They made their way but Zeref attacked back using his dark blades spell. I quickly ran up to them and blocked the attack with my dark magic. "Jellal your right arm..." said Lucy and Gray. "I'll explain later but you two shouldn't be here." I said still struggling blocking his attacks. "Let's see how you deal with this Jellal! He rushed striking back at my abdomen with his speed and along with a high kick. I gritted my teeth avoiding the kick bending backwards. "Jellal lookout!" Lucy yelled as I noticed some of his invincible dark blades were already on their way towards me.

Then a flash of red cut through the blades in pieces. My eyes widened seeing her summoning ten thousand swords at Zeref, "Like I said, whoever gets at Jellal, deals with me."

"Erza..."

Zeref snickered, "Haha interesting..."
