Erza's POV

Things got way tention among those two. Both of them unleashed their attacks quite intense almost crashing everything down in their path. "Nice, this is the way I like it Jellal!" Mavis yelled as she ran through his attacks releasing her spells as well. She managed to trap him inside one of her magic circles and blasted it. "How's that for a change." She suddenly yelp when Jellal dashed through hitting her with his dark fireworks.

"Just try your best not to hurt her more!" I yelled as Jellal stopped and looked at me. Mavis came back giving out few punches and gave a high kick at him. He managed to block with his both hands. The fight went on and on. I couldn't stand watching those two hurting each other. None of them were giving up. She grinned as she unleashed her magic throughout the area blasting from every direction. I couldn't see a thing as more buildings came crashing down. I quickly ran and hopped over to the next roof hoping to see those two don't hurt each other more.

I don't want them either to die. Guess Zeref was the one that is controlling Mavis. The dust slowly fade away and I was blown to see Mavis and Jellal on par on the other side. "Bet you didn't expect from that last attack..."

"Mavis get a hold on yourself!" said Jellal but Mavis didn't budge and went head on with Jellal. He sighed and gave a hit at her stomach causing her to fall over his limbs. He went over and embedded his fangs at her neck. I gasped, "What are you doing?" After a moment, he drew out his fangs as Mavis lost conscious. He carried her in bridal style heading over to me. "What did you do?" I asked as I laid Mavis down gently. "I sucked the darkness out of her. She should be fine now."

"You're alright?" I asked seeing him standing the pain that he just felt. He smiled, "I'm fine."

"My it seems that you knocked her out, but that doesn't matter cause the end of your precious world is finally here." Zeref appeared at the back. I gasped seeing the sight of Lucy, Natsu, Gray and Juvia were totally wiped out by Zeref. "No..." I said as tears were forming in my eyes seeing them on the ground. Jellal quickly shoved me but both of us got hit by Zeref's attacks. The tiny dark blasts pierced through Jellal's chest and some on his abdomen including at my arms and my leg. Blood gushed out of Jellal's mouth as we both fall to the ground.

Lucy's POV

Grgh...when I opened I saw both Erza and Jellal fell to the ground. I struggled standing up after getting intense attacks from Zeref. What's even more shocking is the sight of a monster coming from the portal. The portal vanished after that leaving Zeref standing on it. It started letting out its powers as part of Magnolia was covered with dark flames. "No." I gasped as I used my strength running towards Natsu and tried to wake him up. "Natsu wake up! Come on you gotta wake up!" Natsu groaned as he slowly stirred from his sleep. He shot up fast looking around. "What the hell is going on? What is that thing?"

"I don't know but we got to help Erza and Jellal! They got hit pretty badly!" I said as Natsu clenched his fists lighting up the fire. "Damn you Zeref..."

TIMESKIP

Jellal's POV

I woke up shortly after making an impact on the ground. I felt my blood draining out from my chest and my abdomen as well. I almost got pierced near the heart, but still I won't last much longer. Then I heard this loud weird noise as I looked up seeing the monster setting Magnolia on fire. I gritted my teeth, getting back up on my feet. I looked at the side seeing Erza ling unconscious. I took off my jacket, put it on her and carried her gently, trying to find a safe place. "Big brother!" I turned around seeing Wendy and Meredy running from behind. "You two! Guess you got separated from Ultear?"

"We got separated while fighting against the vampires. What is that thing over there?" she said pointing at the monster. "You guys need to get out of here as quickly as possible!" I caught glimpse of Levy and Gajeel coming over.

"This isn't good. The whole Magnolia is covered with fire and most of us are trapped in it. That's one of Zeref's creations, the ultimate one. That monster is not easy to kill, it can regenerate many times unless you find its weak spot." Levy explained as I sighed thinking of what to do now.

Everyone is wounded and others are still in battle. Its only up to me to put an end to this. I don't have much time left anyway. "Take Erza with you and keep her safe. I'll deal with Zeref and that monster alone." All of them were shocked. "You are crazy? You can't beat Zeref and that monster all by yourself!" said Gajeel as I smiled back, "Its the only way Gajeel. What choice do we have? Look at me...this body of mine will break soon and I'll turn into a monster. After that, I'll fade away from this world just like the wind."

"No...you're lying right big brother?" I can't help seeing Wendy on the verge of tears. I passed Erza over to Gajeel as I bend down hugging Wendy. "Just promise me that you'll stay well and be kind to others. You'll always be my dearest little sister." Wendy was already crying, as she tightens the hug, "I love you big brother."

"Jellal..." I turned around seeing my friends giving me the sad look. I chuckled wiping the blood on my lips, "Well, I had fun with you guys. I couldn't be more happy being friends with you all."

Gajeel came over giving a slight punch, "Don't leave us dude. You hear me?" I smiled, "I just need one last favour, just pass this message to Erza once she's well and awake."

After saying everything that I felt I ran off chasing after the monster. "I found you..." I felt another wave of pain and this time I felt my back was about to break when two black wings formed. I quickly used my magic to stop the blood at my chest for the time being. "Well isn't that my worthy opponent, Jellal Fernandes."

"Zeref..." I cursed under my breath as he sat down from the monster. "My look at you, the transformation is almost complete and soon you'll fade away leaving the rest of your soul being devoured by my ultimate creation, Larcade."

My eyes widened, "Larcade?" He laughed, "He was willing to give up his soul for completing the purpose. So I infused the powers from the portal with his turning him into a monster. That is his ultimate monster form, a powerful one. I bet Magnolia will survived after this..."

I cursed under my breath unleashing my powers as I slashed him off into pieces. He snickered, "Is that how you really going to kill me Jellal?" I watched as his body heals back leaving with no scars or wounds behind. He grinned lashing out his dark blades, "I'm waiting...Jellal..."
