You're My Friend

Natsu's POV

"Give up already brats, you are no way match to my awesome sand golmen!" I stood up clenching my fists feeling totally pissed, "Aarrrgghh, this guy is pissing me off. I'll beat the snug out of him!" I felt a bump on my head. I turned around glaring at Gajeel. "What's the big deal iron head."

"If you are going to sit there and wine like a baby be my guest! I'm gonna rip those two off by myself!" said Gajeel who snapped at me. I hissed wiping some dust of my clothes. "There's no way I'm gonna let you have all the fun moron." I said and he snickered back. "Gihee!"

I pumped up my fists, "Let's show them how the taste of dragon slayer magic!"

"You bet I do furball." he said as he got ready with his stance against Wahl and me with that sand weirdo. "Enough with your speech, taste my ultimate punch from my sand golmen! Haha!"

I jumped high the moment the sand monster came over to my direction. Ajeel hitched as he made another move controlling the monster following my direction. "You can't get away from me!"

I smirked looking back at him as his eyes widened, "Fire Dragon Secret Art Crimson Explosive Flame Edge!" At once I hit him directly at the sand monster till it was destroyed along with him completely knock him out.

"Yeah! That was awesome!" I said and turning around seeing Gajeel beaten Wahl with his iron dragon sword. "Tcht, that took a lot of work..." he muttered softly as I crept up giggling behind, "Pretty tough ay?"

"Butt off salamander!"

I hissed and turned my back to him. "Fine fine let's go to the Lucy and the others. They are waiting on top."

"Yeah."

"Natsu! Gajeel! Help us!!!!!!" Lucy, Levy and Mira screamed at the distance where I caught a sight of vampire soldiers chasing behind them. "Step aside!" I yelled as me and Gajeel wiped them out till they were all down. "What are you even thinking?" I turned around looking at Lucy and the girls panting heavily and there was two new people with them. "Hold on that hair color...is that you Meredy?" I pointed as she looked up and hugged me. "Natsu! Good to see you here as well!"

"Alright! Alright, you are squeezing me Meredy." She let go of me as I continued asking her, "How did you get here?"

"Long story. After Jellal left us to fight Invel he told us something about Meredy and Wendy's friend being locked up in the East District. So we walked over there and then we bumped into her." said Lucy as Meredy nodded her head. "Yeah, I managed to use my hairpin to unlock the lock and ran out together with Cheria."

I stopped her halfway, "Wait who is Cheria?"

A girl with darker pink hair and dark blue eyes popped behind Meredy smiling, "Its me." I smiled shaking hands with her, "Nice knowing you, Cherria, I'm Natsu Dragneel, you can call me Natsu."

Meredy continued to explain, "So moving on, Halfway we ran, we bumped into Lucy and others. So we just headed out of the district and that's when the guards saw us and started chasing all of us till we met the two of you here."

"I see. Well, we just need to wait for Jellal and Wendy." I said as Meredy started saying something, "I remember! Wendy was taken out of prison two days ago before all of you came." We turned to her as she explained, "I'm not sure of the details but Zeref did came by the prison that day before she was taken out. He mentioned of telling her something and urged her to follow him. After that, she didn't return to the cell and I was worried that something might happened to her."

I sighed, "Wendy will be fine. Her big brother, Jellal is looking for her." She smiled as a tear run down her eye. "Yeah."

Suddenly we all stopped seeing Jellal heading our direction. We all gasped seeing him covered in blood and some on his face. We all ran to him, "Are you alright Jellal?" I asked as he nodded his head, "I'm fine. Sorry for appearing like this. I did go extreme against Invel earlier in the fight."

I punched slightly his shoulder, "You are so gonna fight me next when we get back home!" He laughed, "Sure Natsu." Meredy came forward to Jellal, "Nice to see you again Jellal." He smiled rubbing her hair gently, "Glad you're alright Meredy."

"Is Wendy with you Jellal?" Cherria asked as we all starred at Jellal. He looked down to the ground shaking his head. "We'll find her." I said as Jellal looked up to me with his eyes widened. "Wendy is part of us and we don't want to leave her behind right?" I said as he smiled back. "You're right."

We all turned our attention to Gray who was coughing badly as Mira patted on his back. "What's happening?" Lucy asked as Jellal rushed over to Gray touching his forehead. He sighed heavily, "He's having a high fever. The black marks are slowly spreading all over his body."

"What are we going to do?" asked Mira as Jellal stood up thinking. "Mira, Meredy, Cherria and Levy. You guys stay here with Gray while the rest of us search for Wendy." All of us nodded in agreement.

"Just hold on longer Gray." I said running along with Jellal and others.

"We'll try to get back as fast as we can Mira!" said Jellal as Mira nodded her head.

TIMESKIP

Invel's POV

I could hear footsteps coming closer to me and then it stopped. "You look awful Invel." That familiar voice the one I know for the fact...I opened my eye and looked up seeing Zeref in front of me with his serious gaze. I sighed looking back to the floor, "Just finish me off Sire since I failed the mission." He kept quiet for a moment till he helped me up from the ground. He took a glance over at the injury at my abdomen. "He managed to penetrate deeply, quite impressive I must say."

"Indeed, no one has ever managed to touch me but he's the first." I said as he looked back at me. "You're gonna die if you loose too much blood." He said as he stood up pulling my hand and walked down the hallway. I slapped his hand away from me and he stopped, "You don't have to...just kill me off already!"

"I can't do that..." he said.

"Why not?!?"

"You're my friend Invel."

My eyes widened as I stood there speechless. Blood was trickling down from my wound till the floor. He came over and took my hand continued to walk. "Let's treat your wounds then we'll talk later." I was just starring at him the whole time walking till I decided to speak up, "My apologies sire..."

"Don't be...just call me Zeref. I don't like the word sire, doesn't suit me."

"But I...I..."

"Are you going to disobey me?"

"No...Zeref."

"Good then."

Wendy's POV

"What is this feeling?" I said as I felt a strong heartbeat in me. Then my head started to ache as I leaned against the pillar holding the pain. What is happening to me?

I screamed as I felt an intense dark aura came right out of me covering the whole area. I heard the doors burst opened. "Miss Wendy are you alright?"

"I'm fine leave me alone." I said till something happened and everything went black. When I opened my eyes all I could see was blood everywhere and all over my black dress. I looked around seeing the servants were dead as I ran to the pillar feeling afraid. I just stared at the blood as my body starts shivering. Did I really killed them?
