Lucy's POV

We managed to get back safely to the human world. We walked to the bar where Ultear said she would be waiting for us. The moment we arrive, Meredy ran into her arms crying with joy. "I can't thank you all enough." said Ultear as she soon spotted Gray and Wendy unconscious, "Are they all ok?"

"We're bringing them to Porlyusica." said Jellal as we headed off from the bar. "Wait up! We're coming with you." both of them said together as they followed us all the way to the academy. We stepped in the academy straight to the infirmary. We caught sight of Porlyusica and Juvia having a conversation till they turned seeing us. "What in the world happened to Gray?" asked Porlyusica as she spotted the black marks on his body. Juvia was shocked looking at Gray suffering in pain as Mira comforted her at the side. Porlyusica took at a closer look to Gray, "Let see if I have medicine that could remover those black marks off him."

"You can?" Juvia asked as she nodded, "I'll try my best." she said as Natsu and Gajeel carried Gray into the room while Jellal placed Wendy in another bed same room as Gray. I came over to Juvia, "Don't worry, he'll be fine."

She sobs and smiled slightly, "Yeah." Soon after Natsu and Gray walked out of the room as they sat near us. I asked, "Where's Jellal?"

"He's in another room with Erza. He said he wants to see her." said Gajeel. "I'm going to see Gray." said Juvia as she stood up leaving the rest of us outside the infirmary.

We waited for a while till I felt my eyes were heavy due to past few days of no sleep. I looked at Ultear, Wendy and Cherria asleep soundly. Soon, Natsu and the others slept one by one and my eyes were shut completely drifting off.

Erza's POV

What is this feeling...the gentle touch. Its so familiar like I want it even more. I felt someone was touching me gently as I slowly opened my eyes seeing Jellal gazing at me with a sweet smile on his face. "You're finally awake." He said softly as I sat up straight giving him a kiss. He pushed my body forward closer to his to deepen the kiss. Not after long we broke apart gasping for air.

"Did you get Wendy and the others?" I asked as he nodded his head. "Gray is in a bad shape and so is Wendy." I was shocked as he lowered his head to the floor. I gripped on his shoulders, "What happened?"

"Gray was locked up in some lab and they were doing some experiments on him. They injected a chemical into his body which caused black marks spread all over his body. Porlyusica is taking a look at him now. As for Wendy, she was in Zeref's control. The darkness engulfed her almost turning her into a demon. I managed to knock her out before anything worse happens. This was my fault. Although I got my magic back but still..." Tears were dripping down from his eyes as he clenched his fists and gritted his teeth. "I couldn't even protect everyone." I pulled embracing him as he released out his cries while I patted his back.

Then Porlyusica came in, "I'm glad to see you awake Erza." I looked up at her as Jellal wiped off his tears and turned facing her. "How's Gray?" Jellal asked as Porlyusica sighed, "He's fine. He'll be awake either today or tomorrow. I managed to inject him some medicine that caused the black stains to be removed from his body. Now he's just resting." Both me and Jellal were relieved as Porlyusica turned to Jellal with her serious gaze. "Mind if I speak to you privately Jellal?"

"Yes. I'll be back Erza." he said as I watched him followed Porlyusica out of the room. Lucy, Levy and Juvia popped in the room as they ran and jumped over the bed hugging me. "Erza! You're awake! Thank goodness!!!" said Lucy feeling excited as I hugged them back. "Lots of things happened few days ago." said Levy as Lucy continued, "You should see the way we rammed through the palace but we encountered few fights. I'll tell you from the start."

"How bout you Juvia?" I asked as she shook her head, "No Juvia stayed here to looked after you."

"Awww thanks." I said with a smile as she smiled back. "Come on Erza hear this story, tell her Lulu." said Levy as Lucy starts to explain from the start. I couldn't help but wonder what was Porlyusica intend to speak with Jellal privately?

Jellal's POV

Porlyusica and I walked in to the room where Wendy and Gray were in sleeping. Juvia was sleeping beside Gray as we walked pass her quietly to Wendy. She sat down on her chair as I stood leaning against the wall. She spoke, "I know you might get disappointed in this but I don't know whether your sister has truly come back to her self yet."

"Can you do something about it?" I asked. She shook her head. "I'm sorry. She might not come back at all. She'll loose her memories and start a new life as a different person. You might have to be ready for that." At that moment, I was speechless...thinking of nothing. It pains me of loosing someone that I love and cherish. A dear little sister that soon to be vanished from the world and reborn as a new person but as a demon. "There has to be a way to save her maybe..." I said as Porlyusica looked at me. "What do you suggest?"

I looked over at Wendy as I placed my hand over my chest, "Etch Zeref's darkness into me." Her eyes widened, "What? No, have you have any idea what would happen if you take that risk?"

"I know but I'm a pure blood and at the same time a demon vampire. I can handle it. I just want her to be happy. I'm begging you Porlyusica please." She stood there as she sighed heavily. "If that's your choice then I have nothing to say. However, you will feel extremely painful during the transfusion." I nodded my head smiling, "Thanks Porlyusica."

"I can't believe that young people these days are so determined of doing dangerous things without thinking straight. Seriously they don't know when to quit." she blurted out leaving the room as I chuckled walking towards Wendy. I gently rubbed her head, "Your pain will be over soon, Wendy."
