A Night To Remember

Beautiful black eyes met mine as I opened my eyes. I'm scared, my body is shaking uncontrollably, my hands are sweating. Why is he here? Did he came back to kill me?

"How are you?" He asked again.

His voice is music to my ears. He's so handsome but I know what he is inside. He's still looking deep into my eyes, waiting for an answer.

"Who are you?" My voice came out like a whisper, I don't know if he heard it. I have lots of questions to ask him but I don't know where to start. What if he'll got pissed of me and sucked my blood to death. As I thought of that I realized that maybe asking him would be a bad idea. I was about to stand and run when he came more closer to me, this time he is holding both of my shoulder and inhales my scent again. I am praying that maybe someone will noticed me being frightened or maybe Jake will come and save me but out of my luck no one is here now, everyone is gone. I realized coming here was a bad idea.

"Please...please... don't kill me!" I am crying now. I can still feel his strong hold on my shoulder while he breathe my scent.

"No, I won't kill you I promise you that " I can feel his lips moving closer to the mark on my neck. For a while, I felt safe on his words, for a while, I forgot all he did to me but that feeling doesn't last long coz I remembered that I shouldn't trust him. Using all my force I pushed him hardly, this makes him release his hold on my shoulder. Shocked is visible on his face before he can touch me again I ran fast as I could away from him.

I came back to the party panting. I looked for Jake and saw him on the counter. Worried shown on his face as he saw me.

"Are you okay? What happened?"
He asked worriedly.

"I am fine..,nothing happened.. I am just tired.. Ahmm...can you drive me home?" I smiled at him forcefully just to assure him that I'm okay because I don't want him to experience the situation that I'm in right now. I don't want him to be hunted by the vampire also.

"Okay! But Flame, I know that there's something troubling you, I just want you to know that I'm here, you can share it to me, just don't forget that okay?" I just nod my head in reply. He kissed my forehead and sends me home.

We arrived safely in my apartment. I didn't let Jake to go home. I asked him to stay over for the night. I really don't want to be alone for now. Jake didn't object about it. I can see in his eyes that he's worried about me that's why he decided to stay.

I woke up late in the morning feeling exhausted. I noticed Jake wasn't here in my bed anymore and left a note saying he went early because he has a work today. I suddenly remembered about what happend last night. How terrified I am. I'm glad that I was able to escape on that man. I sigh and grabbed my phone on my bedside table. I texted Jake good morning and apologized also about living the party early. I felt bad about it, that he wasn't able to enjoy the party because of me.
My phone beeped signaling that I received a text message. It's a reply from Jake. He said that it's not a big deal and I owe him lunch. I smiled then texted him back, OKAY.

Jake is a great friend, he is like a brother to me. We became friends because of our parents. His mother and mine are best friends but sadly his mom died because of a car accident. I haven't seen his dad, my mom said that his dad was dead even before Jake was born. Jake has a girlfriend, she's a teacher too. She's pretty and kind, sometimes she will come to my house to have a girl talk or invites me to go shopping and buys me dresses and some other staff.
I smiled as I remembered all those happy things we had but my smile faded and turns to a shock as I noticed the presence of a man that I feared the most, standing near my window watching me.

"Hi, My Flame?" He said it with a smirk on his face.
